But wasn’t the point of nerfing racials into the ground since Vanilla to prevent certain races from being meta? I’m all for more racial customizations (e.g. allowing non-human paladins to have aesthetics that actually match their own cultural aesthetics), but I think trying to make them gameplay features just hurts more casual players. There’s already enough gatekeeping at higher levels of play as is, so throwing in race-based metas feels like it’d just hurt people who wanted to play whatever race and class combo they wanted.
Maybe you could just give players the ability to flavor their racials? For instance, all the Belf racials are magic-themed, so perhaps you could give Belf hunters the ability to have more wilderness-themed racials instead?
Imagine racial benefits like unlocking a Dwarven lodge and specializing in beer crafting with unique buffs and toys

yea know your place… lol jk but that would be a dope idea actually, having like a “inn” that you unlock from cooking and you can have players come in for drink buff or special food buff. Kill a dragon, bring its meat (stop thinking dirty i know you are) and we will cook it ! I think that be super dope.

Oh that’d be cool! Or dive deep into a mini story dungeon with a tough miniboss and fight it to unlock a rare recipe that puts more hair on yer chest!

I really hope a blizzard employee is not reading this… and decide to steal the idea and market it as their own idea… that would be terrible for the player base… oh no…
I’m pretty sure any ideas we post here are automatically deemed as their right to use.

Well I was thinking they could rename the same racials to fit the race culture. Like as nomads yea tauren would be nice to have the option of the vulpera racial. An extra hearth basically is pretty cool.

this is the funniest thing I’ve read on here in a very long.
I am curious on what you guys would think on say what racials each human kingdom would have?
If LFD had multiple races in it’s ranks, (human, dwarf, high elf for example) what racials would they have?
A good idea would be to have each race have a unique talent tree that influences their class with unique spell animations.
