What is the best weapon i can get. Running a dungeon or raid is not an option.
The auction house is non existent (like maybe 50 items on it)
I can craft the engineer weapon once i get my skill up. I think that is my best bet, what else?
Or with new pvp season do weapons become available? I don’t like the sound of guns.
Well, this limits your choices. In this case, your best choice is the gun.
Honestly, at this point, arena in general seems to be up in the air, so I wouldn’t rely on PvP for anything until after Phase 2 is released.
Edit: If you are strongly against the gun, there are two options (bow and crossbow) you can get from quests:

Worse than the two above, you may be incredibly lucky to find Roc-Feather Longbow dropping off mobs in Icecrown, Zul’Drak, Sholazar Basin, or the Storm Peaks.
Craft yourself a Nesingwary 4000, its pretty good
Get the engineer gun and get the addon that changes the gun sound effect.
Assuming you can’t do ANY dungeons, rep argent dawn for the gun. Melee weapons are on many reputations, check out ebon hold or hodir. Note the ones I recommend are top level (200), which means as good as a blue can ever get unless you want ones with resilience. Good luck getting weapons with that since Blizzard didn’t bother to put them on the vendors in S1. Maybe for S2 they’ll finally be here.

There is a gun silencer addon. It makes guns sound like they have a suppressor. I used it all the time on my hunter.
There’s one for things like mechano hogs too 
If you can do arena, get the Deadly bow now that rating requirements have been removed. Knights of the Ebon Blade revered for the 2H sword for a melee weapon.
