I recently blocked someone and I am wondering what this does exactly. Will I just not receive their messages? Will it say error to them when they try to message me now? I removed them, and they messaged me, so I blocked them because they were bullying me.
Also, can they get my IP through Bnet messages? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am curious ><
The support article has most of the answers you may have, but not what happens if someone tries to message someone that has them blocked. You’ll have to find that out yourself.
Only if you give it to them yourself, or any sensitive personal information that can be used to locate you.
All messages go through Blizzard’s servers and not directly to the other player. The only IP they could get, with the way Blizzard sets it up, is the one for the server, if one is available at all.
