You would just complain about it anyway.
A slog now? Who you playing with to struggle so much?
Timewalking dungeons now scale to your level instead of scaling you to their level. As such legacy gear no longer provides an advantage.
In short: Fun Detected.
Wands (and bows/guns) are main hand weapons now in retail if you read the tooltip and understand that they removed the ranged gear slot for everyone. The warlock you played with was just undergeared and probably not executing their rotation well or pressing buttons at all because its TW KEK.
In modern gear, you will have no problem, but if you are in your old gear you used to use in TW content, it is probably making you weaker.
Hmm in doctor who terms it’d be some timey whimey crap, in WoW I guess its some scaley whaley crap? xd
If you were geared before hand, I guess it might feel like this. I think wet noodle is over stating it, but your power curve will fall off well before you get enough gear to compensate. If you were not geared, hitting 71 you will literally fall over.
I made a dracthyr warrior for the trading post task, and just kept going with him because: Why not? I literally went from pulling whole wings of Stratholm, to getting 1 shot by a boss in ZF. The healer asked if my armor broke. I had to dip into the warband gear I had tucked away during the prepatch event to keep going.
I’ve been doing TW on 6 characters and it has gone fairly smoothly. As a healer, i did notice that some tanks barely need healing while others are hard to keep alive. In general, i was dpsing about 1/2 the time while running a healer unless i had a squishy tank. Class of tank didn’t matter. It may be worth buying some auction greens, or making sure the build is as defensive as possible.
Your posts are not worth reading, ever.
looking in the mirror again?
I think tanking in time walking is a breeze now!! Legit can pull half the dungeon with like zero issues. Just don’t pull the boss too lol
