What happened to the story telling?

If the tone of the cinematic changed or the dialogue/narrative changed, it wouldn’t be a goblin-themed patch. It would be the same patch we always get with goblins swapped in as stand-ins for the main characters.

So yes, it’s about the goblins.

Yes it can.

LOL

Right.

That’s your opinion and I can have mine. See how this works? Not complicated. Wow two people can have different opinions? No way. This is a world shattering revelation.

meds need meds Mostly meds, also really not gonna check it out, that damn shame, You missing good stuff.

Ignoring that Gallywix just up and disintegrated a goblin before all this and if one actually goes to read the quests (oh no LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE) that you’ll find a fair bit of the quests are pretty dark in nature

Plus, you know, the whole “capitalisim is eeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvviiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllll” theme everyone is gleefully dogpiling on and how we’re about to off the personification of it here in under a week.

And hot goth mommy Xally is literally the best and actually COMPETENT villian we’ve had since…ever. Arthas would’ve almost been it if he didn’t get scooby doo’d throughout all of Wrath.

ok old man

You’re so upset that you feel the need to insult people by calling them mentally ill over and over.

I guess I’m old, 34.

TWW story feels very disjointed. The swerve to goblins when trying to stop an undead void elf who is potentially an old god just feels weird, personally. Why would this herald of a Void Lord who destroyed a whole freakin’ planet need the help of goblins? I actually enjoy goblins as a race, I find them humorous, but the plot ain’t plotting for me. Xal just doesn’t feel intimidating or capable as a villain.

you have psychosis :upside_down_face:

The engaging bits of the story had to piggyback off Warcraft 3. That game left a lot of hanging threads that WoW had an opportunity to finish.

WoW’s original storylines were never that great.

I never said you can’t have an opinion. I just expect it to make sense.

“Goblins aren’t the problem, but remove all the traits that define goblins as a race and it’ll be fine.”

This is peak delusion.

It was building up for some time if you did the side quests. What she needs is the goblins to fix the dark heart with the black blood. That is all.

Storyboards / Animatics give an idea of what the director and director of cinematography what to convey, and are often changed in the end by in the final versions by revisionists as the final product is made.

Blizzard ran out of established antagonists, so they came up with new ones that didn’t have much - or any - lore behind them. This isn’t a bad thing if it’s done well and it’s arguably necessary to advance WoW’s overall story.

At least Xal’atath and Gallywix have some tie-ins with former plot elements (the Old Gods). The Jailer though came out of nowhere in SL and we were told to believe he was behind everything this whole time. Then we killed him and found out he was a robot. It was monumentally goofy because he felt like a disposable villain of the week on a TV show.

Also, the robot thing.

Right, I’m the one with a problem here. Totally.

Yes, and that is lame for a cosmic being. That is what I am saying. It diminishes her in every conceivable way.

You are by telling me what my opinions are just because you don’t understand it or agree with it.

Right… totally not trying to tell me what to think.

I think she talking to her self Don’t worry men in wihte coats coming to help you, stay in your local area for futher help.

Why? Deathwing also enslaved goblins to make technology and armor for him. Death Wing created the Dark Heart. She would use goblins to fix something they helped create.

Goblins are also geniuses, a-moral and can be bought or used. It is very simple why she would use them.

She’s a void being, not a old god or void lord.
