I’m not sure what you mean by “old system” unless you mean just putting in a ticket without choosing what kind of ticket it is.
For removing an authenticator, if you followed the instructions and wrote down the serial number and restore code, removing it should be pretty straightforward. Alternatively, if you have Battle.net Phone Notifications setup (and have a replacement for your phone with the same number), the system should be able to send you a text to confirm removal too.

I dont know what you mean by any of this, I clicked on remove authenticator in blizzard support and it literally made me just submit a ticket…and now im just waiting wishing I could log into my game. I dont know a thing about an authenticator serial number nor did it ask, Im visiting another country so I cant get a replacement phone until im back in the US
It is rather annoying, especially when the in-game section directs you to a site like wowhead, where the problem is mentioned in the comments, but no solution is there, and then you get a response from a GM to go to wowhead where you already checked.

Unfortunately, people called for all sorts of reasons that Blizz couldn’t help with. In some cases, people waited on hold just to try and get a GM to tell them a joke. It was a HUGE waste of time and resources.
Currently, they still have the chat system during limited hours.
During the installation process for the authenticator, it tells you to write down the serial number and restoration code so that you can just remove the authenticator or set it up on another device.
But seeing that you’re in another country altogether, you likely wouldn’t have access to that anyway.
Your ticket shouldn’t take too long right now. Last I heard the ticket times were only a few hours long.

There’s no throw down. If people want the same information Nobully and I gave, they can read the CS forums. It’s that simple. There’s really nothing more to it. The info was given, they were pointed to where else they could find it.
The fact that toxicity rose because these GDers can’t handle information and just want to continue spreading misinformation is just typical of social media and what’s wrong with our society.
