What happened to the bot reports?

Unless I missed something huge, they made a change many months ago in the ToS that if you advertised selling services in the LFG channel it can be reported.

For a brief time I’d report people and eventually I’d get in-game mail messages saying essentially “thanks for the report, we’re banning this person”. But in the past 5-6 weeks I’ve reported… 50? 60? idk people and have not got a single mail confirming the report. So my primary question is, did this stop? Do they not ban for spamming boosting services in LFG anymore?

I play on Faerlina and the spam in LFG chat for boosting is almost endless even with 200+ people reported + on ignore. I can’t IMAGINE the spam people get if they don’t use the same addons + report as often as I do.

Like… The point of LFG is to find people to fill your group. Thats it. Its not a boosting service channel, yet thats all its become. And as I’ve said numerous, numerous times in the past, even ONE GM on the server to ACTIVELY ban/kick people instead of waiting weeks and weeks for results would end with much better results.

I enjoy pugging and I’m stupidly geared (full bis atm). And I want to help groups, but when LFG channel is simply spammed with boosting services, it ends up being a chore trying to find a single group.

Just before this latest stretch of no feedback/thank you’s for reporting advertisers in the wrong channel, there was a shorter one of a week or two, followed by my getting like 15 of of “thank you for your report message” all at once, and then nothing.

I’m guessing we’ll log in one day and have even more of them sitting there once they catch up or do whatever it is they do for that. Hopefully that’s the case and they haven’t just given up on the whole effort, seemed to be worthwhile before when it was a regular thing.

Maybe they came to their senses and realized that in order for someone to get boosted you have to be in a group. Therefore it being in a looking for group channel is appropriate
