I thought one of the biggest things about WoW Classic was that you could play the game just like it was back then… first they add mounts you can buy with real money, then they add the character boost, and now WoW tokens?? Are we serious right now Blizzard? You won’t add dungeon finder because that would effect the “social experience of WoW Classic” too much, but think it’s okay to add WoW tokens? What a joke. I actually felt good about myself when I reached 1000 gold for the first time ORGANICALLY. Now all you have to do is pull your wallet out, click 2 buttons and you have 10k gold
No changes was classic era, it still exists and there is no token there… yet.
No changes was player made, not blizzard supported.
It was never real.
i feel like wow tokens is them responding to the overwhelming complaints about bots, no? will token work to reduce bots?
it didnt on reatail only thing it did was make teh gold packages more for teh same prices so they would still attract buyers.
What happened to RDF? One of the biggest qualities of life changes added to the game it’s currently not in the classic version of said game because… anyways let’s add the WoW token
Wasnt it added in ToGC patch though? I kinda hope that they do add RDF and LFR. Would be so nice.
The “no changes” thing died fairly early on, as people and the world has a changed a lot since vanilla.
“No-changes” was a philosophy espoused by a small subset of mid 40’s Classic WoW enthusiasts whose parents did a poor job teaching them how to adapt to change. Most people knew the kinds of common sense changes that could be made to make the game better.
The irony is that the original “No-changers” are the reason why we’re playing WoTLK without LFD. They’d often argue against QoL features like LFD being implemented in Classic or Classic TBC because they “destroyed the social fabric of WoW!” Blizzard took those arguments to heart and here we are now.
