My rotation now is literally Send Pet,Hunters Mark, Serpent Sting, Multishot then Auto Shot and repeat until oom…
This is no different to Era Hunter, actually Era Hunter feels stronger and pets are better.

They finally fixed them that’s what happened. I’m sorry you can no longer /pet attack then /afk go make a sandwich - and come back to see yourself as the top performer with this rotation
Hunters were actually good for once and Blizz panicked then hit the class with constant knee jerk nerfs.

Hunter’s were unbalancing the game it was off the charts stupid come on. Letting one class have that much power will make everyone else either quit or roll hunter and there will be no class diversity or population

yeah my rake on alliance side hunter is really squishy, i had to rez him a few times and flat out dies to mobs 3 levels below him… in the beginning my horde hunter with the rake could at leat handle 4 mobs same level and I’d only need to do a few heals and mostly could win without too much hassle (aka get 1 of the 4 in a freeze trap) distract shot on another while kiting it around and have the rake tank 1 while dpsing the other…
now i can bearly just do 1 on 1s…

Why are you using abilities? They’re like 3 dps total. Just stand there and auto attack. It’s what blizzard wants.

Chimera shot still has use cases for the disarm.
Explosive shot has use cases too but it’s way more niche.
