Tyrvel’s post is an example (partly) of what has happened to WPVP. If you want to help people - there’s plenty of ways of doing so (non virtual.) See, I’m not interested in joining a hotline, or helping people feel better about themselves. I’m just not that kind of person. I’m here to do WPVP. I’m here to ruin the gaming experience of any person I run into, who is stupid enough to toggle war mode on (unfortunately.) 2021 WPVP is just a bunch of weak minded people swapping kills, and posting lame screen shots for 500 gold bounties. It’ll never be the same again, because there’s not many people like me left in World Of Warcraft… I continue my subscription in hopes of finding that next person, whose day I can ruin. I don’t do rated PVP, I don’t do raids - I just make players feel bad in game. I’m a wrecking machine with no conscience - no remorse. When I get that rage whisper in game - or see that streamers face after he’s been ganked - it fuels me.
WPVP no longer has that no holds barred feel to it. It’s all about sharing feelings, and making ‘‘friends.’’ Putting an end to that - fuels me even more. I’ll do my best to keep that old school feel alive in WPVP - But I cannot do it alone. Log on, gank, /spit. Do what needs to be done - to help our game play start to thrive again.

If WoW dies it will be the best thing to ever happen to the MMO industry. Because expansion after expansion at this point. It’s been the same model and the model gets worse. Primary dev focus are instances (mythics, raid, laddered pvp). When they started phasing, and layering, and sharding or whatever. It went from being an open world to smoke and mirrors and lots of “xserver me to gank fest”. The last month i played, i couldn’t even run into fellow guild mates. They were always phased differently than me. I couldn’t even pick herbs up off the ground. They would be there like a mirage and when i get right up on them they vanish right in front of my face. The devs are so out of touch with reality at this point this game needs a sensibly written obituary.

WPvP on Grobbulus isn’t as fantastic as people make it out to be. But you have to remember there is no Warmode, so if you play on Grobbulus and want to go out into the world, you are forced to pvp even if you don’t want too. War Mode killed WPvP especially server centric WPvP.

Sorry, have a hard time believing yall, when all yall do is lurk these forums like a creepy ex.
Mostly check in every expansion launch out of nostalgia, alot of history was made here on these forums in the past. It used to be active and a thread would be capped least once a week
Shame to see the only post on the front page is nearly 4months old and just has retail simps that defend an empty-shell of a game. Sorry that you were late to the party
