What grinds your gears?

For me, today specifically, is when you spend hours trying to come up with a name for a new toon. And each time you finally settle on something, it turns out there’s 60+ other toons with the same name and one of them is on your realm already.

I expected that poor a response from Malgorok, but come on Stab, you’re better than that.

A gear is a rotating circular machine part having cut teeth or, in the case of a cogwheel or gearwheel, inserted teeth (called cogs), which mesh with another compatible toothed part to transmit (convert) torque and speed. The basic principle behind the operation of gears is analogous to the basic principle of levers.

Funny thing is sometimes you pick something you assume will be taken and it’s not… I just named this character a few weeks ago and I’m on fairly high populated server.

To answer your questions… Forum posters that go to people’s profiles and pick them apart instead of formulating a relevant response to a thread.

I don’t have problems with names but i do get stuck doing backgrounds for the new characters to me they have to match what I’m projecting.

I use to get that a lot long time ago, but once I agreed with them and said “yes I’m noob, and?” They took the walk of shame.

Poor clutch work more than anything. Sometimes I grind my teeth too, but that’s normally anger.

Not being able to dragon fly outside of Dragonflight

Oh yeah, when I found out you couldn’t use those Dragonriding mounts at all outside the Dragon Isles, that ticked me off.

Mostly dungeons and PvP are how I get gear grinded.

Right? Also not being able to use other dragon mounts in Dragonflight despite them using the same models as the new ones.

Finishing the weekly only to get a higher ilevel helm when you are using the crafted engineering helm. Raidbots showed it as a DPS loss as well.

Sure I can upgrade it if only I opened up engineering alot more but that’s not for awhile it looks like. But there was bunch of other slots that could’ve benefited from the huge ilevel upgrade.

It’s like the system is designed that way.

You know how sometimes when you’re dealing with a video game thing the first time, you almost flawlessly do it the first try but then you can never seem to do it again?
