For me, it’ll always be the guild master from 2006 who basically dictated what his guildies could do when the new expansion launched.

  1. Way back in Wrath or Cata or something, Blizzard gave a kid with cancer a free mount and let him design a quest in game. (Think it’s in Mulgore.) Some clown came on the forums and ranted, in multiple troll posts, how this kid got a mount for free and how it wasn’t fair to everyone else. This went on, multiple threads, until the mods finally gave him the boot.

A post a long time ago on the old forums, the thread was deleted because of the post and it was actually from a blue. It was during a ddos attack and people were throwing a fit.

Honestly, nothing around here sticks with me like that. So while people can bring up things and it’ll trigger a memory of it, I don’t remember stuff like this on my own about these forums.

It was during MoP. An undead player made a gigantic wall of text which sarcastically encapsulated all the complaints about MoP, but also exposed the players who told the commentator to just leave the game without reading the said wall of text. It was art.

A positive one would be when that “neutral” pandaren started his journey in MoP.
