I know this might be a bit early to ask, but Dragon Isles wasn’t a complete and total surprise…as Dragon Isles were something that was hinted around in the lore.
But the real question is, what’s next? Is there any room for more continents on Azeroth, or is this the end?
I feel we’ve explored the entire landmass of Azeroth…

Nah, the orc expansion we had was terrible.
We need another expansion about trolls, those are always good

World of Warcraft: Azoroth in Peril
Fixed it for ya!
P.S. The timer was set for now instead of having Dragonflight.
But Azeroth needed more sleep so she smacked that Snooze button in da face!
According to the Chinese psychic who never failed is an expansion based in the Elemental Lords. And i love to see them again in the game specially Therazane the Stonemother that didnt have lot of participation back in the day and I loved her ingame model. Also Neptulon, Ragnaros and Al’akir getting involved in a huge elemental war could be awesome or even helping us to battle a bigger menace.

Does WoW even need a story anymore?
- Make 1 new gimmick, like Garrisons or Pet Battles or Dragon flying. Something temporary and exclusive in that expansion.
After that, do the same exact thing they always do:
-
New world zone/quest hub to level up and grind rep in. Put in chests and jumping puzzles for people to race after. Add some rares to camp for gear and rep and the latest system currency.
-
Make a new set of dungeons and raids.
-
Make a couple new systems that require rep and some sort of currency you have to grind to buy stuff.
This is literally all you need for “new” WoW content now. Story and characters are irrelevant.

Surely we can come up with something better, more in line with the usual expansion naming conventions.
What about “The Crimson Tide”, or “The Grand Crusade”, or maybe “Wrath of the Righteous”? Or something like “Onslaught”, perhaps steal from Dragon Age and call it “The Exalted March”.
