Dragonflight looks to be just about smaller than Warlords of Draenor in many respects, the only thing DF having over WoD being actually having M+.

We have no maps. We have no detailed information of content or activities. We know nothing except new class, new continent, new race. They haven’t shown much.

So could you at least just relax and wait until we get more information please?

You’re overlooking revamped talent system and, most importantly, revamped professions. Heck, even revamped flying with the dragon flying thing. Hopefully more like this to come, too.

I’m not sure if it’ll actually end up good or not, hopefully they will be good, but I would take these revamps that will last through multiple expansions over yet more expansion-specific borrowed power systems. WoW is in dire need of serious lasting futureproofing

Honestly that’s probably actually the best part of the announcement so far. In the last 10 years when Blizzard has released new features, systems, content types etc when has it ever worked out for them?

M+. Flex Raiding. World Quests. These are all undeniable success stories. You’ll find more things they did well if you’re willing to wade out of the “100% success” category into more divisive but still mostly liked waters - things like Legion artifact abilities, story campaigns, mission tables, seasonal affixes, Renown, Mage Tower, M+ Timewalking, Great Vault, etc.

Lots of stuff has been solid, people just forget about the stuff that works well and becomes part of the game and only remember the high profile failures.

I still think its a little early BUT, if anyone has seen the Overwatch 2 stuff, that piece of trash alone should make one question what is going on over there in general.

They fired all the old developer and now all that we a have left are a bunch of souless and talentless drones.

I know a lot of them were abusers but damn, atleast people from Afrasiabi’s era brought us decent content.

I wish we could have developers that are both competent while also being decent people, but alas, it seems to be impossible.
