in the USA it means nothing, video games are classified as free speech, therefor ratings have no purpose, children can buy M rated games and the only people who can do anything about it is their parents.
No, they can’t, not in 99% of cases. It’s not illegal, but almost every company policy is not to sell M games to those under 17
Just like they are likely to get turned away from an R rated movie. I know of some places that will even turn pre-teens away from pg-13 movies.

i’m not gonna state my total opinion, i’m not gonna go on a long tangent i’m just gonna say… these changes are dumb, and blizzard is dumb to make them, considering their game is T for teen.

i mean, its not like you buy games in stores anymore, and the few gameshops still out there are not going to turn business away. not that teens are looking for 35 year old collectibles, but you get my point.
Ah yes, because calling them the twin consorts was offensive, but not the consorts everywhere else in the game.
I still go to the store sometimes honestly, and they definitely still turn away kids from m rated games.
Obviously you can’t keep kids from buying m rated games online.
