Naw, I donāt think so. They do the Level 60 purchase because itās totally automated. If you were buying levels, I donāt think it would be so āautomatedā and cut and dry. But who knows!
I donāt think weāll get a new class. Maybe some new allied races, and some classes will be opened up to more races. The art team seems to be pretty busy so maybe weāll be getting some good cosmetic fluff stuff.
If the rumors are true about this being a Dragon expansion, it would be cool if Hunters got Dragonkin pets, and they added a Black Dragon race. but since Wrathion is known to be āone of the Lastā I rather doubt theyāll open that up for there to be a few million of them running around

I have always wanted a DPS/Healer/Tank Tinkerer class but I seriously doubt we will see a new class the next expansion. With all of the internal issues they have had, including external pandemic issues, I think they will go for the lowest hanging fruit with a new story/additional race and class combos. I think it will be a very short expansion just to get something out while they work on something better for the following one.

Honestly, they flop two expansions in a row. Legion was saved for some reason beyond me. So I would not hope for much from this team. They seem stuck on it me, me, me only. That does not seem to work for the rest of the customers base.

I think making him an old school gamon esque npc. Aka level 11 (or lower). But with high hp to make him a punching bag but canāt fight back.
99% sure this is already a thing.
dragonsworn class that wears mail would be really cool.
Another agility two hander user, another bow user, and maybe healer with a staff. And or a tank.

Serious note, its probably going to be two new races. Lets get back to basics.
Because many want to be able to have a home they can customize, weāll get something that is both something like it, but not at all close it.
We will be able to build and customize our own legendary mount. Every crafting profession will be able to make items for it. It will be research gated enough to annoy the heck out of us as we desperately try to grind out flying knowledge. Crafted addons will allow it to fly, be used as a boat, and you will gain rested XP while on/in the mount based on how luxurious you make it.
Like Robotgnomes and Dark Elves.

a new class: Seems like bard is likely given all the bard stuff with all the covenants as hints.
New customization: Merging of allied races (hopefully). And including new customizations to races that are similar basically as allied races. Example. Taunka, grimtotem and feltotem stuff for tauren. Frost and forest trolls for trolls. Dragonmaw/ fel orcs for orcs. Frost dwarves. Full mechagnome options would be nice.
Mixing allied races means stuff like humans being able to pick bodytypes and mix there class comboes.
I want to remove race/class combo restrictions. Or at least servers where we can play anything and itās not inhibited by lore.
It would be nice to play stuff like dranei warlock rogue, tauren warlock/mage/ grimtotem rogue/ nightborne shaman/druid / forsaken druids/ mechagnome shamans/ goblin monks/ kelfin druids/ feltotem demonhunters.
Crossfaction gameplay in pve/pvp/ guilds would be nice overall gameplay. This would include stuff like lifting mail restrictions and trading between crossfaction. And I hope it lets us use cosmetics from both sides of each faction. I would love to use horde mogs on my alliance characters. I wouldnāt mind grinding horde factions for that privelage and to be able to use horde cities.
I really would love class skins, to be able to modify our class fantasies and branch them out to even stuff like different schools of magic. I love the paladin class skins idea and changing up the damge sources to water(frost/nature), fire (holy/fire), and void (shadow/void). Would open up some races to get paladins sort of class via like a shamanistic take like most horde races! For example a maghar flame paladin could be a burning blade shaman! Fire ret paladin, healing fire holy spec, and finally a shaman fire tank spec!

Ok for the next expansion a mail wearing gadget using ranged dps / tank. Say they use a sling or boomerang (so culturally anthropological and sensitive, it kills me). Give em the unique ability to tame and train itās own mounts (and sing a selection of bawdy bar tunes while doing so)! Tada! Something slightly new and exciting. A sling flinginā song singinā pony poet.
