You are moving the goalposts. Classic WoW was never #NoChanges.
We really do need a TBC Era server. A permanent server.
And Blizz should allow character transfers between Era servers. This would help pay for the servers, and players that want to progress from vanilla, to TBC, to WotLK can do so without having to level from scratch on each server. Perhaps whole guilds might participate in something like this, and it is on their schedule and not Blizzards.
I wouldnāt play it but I definitely support the creation of one of each type - PVE & PVP.
I could support this if only one way (Era to TBC Era) and was irreversible.
If irreversible, how about cloning characters to TBC and then WotLK instead of a transfer?
If there were era servers for all three periods currently released in Classic I would want any transfer from one era to a different era to be progressive ie Era to TBC Era only or TBC Era to Wrath Era.
And thereās no coming back.
Cloning is a whole other kettle of fish and Iām not sure I want to complicate things.
But all this is just my opinion. Ultimately it would be nice to have the option of staying put in any of the eras and I think Blizz should have offered that.
I donāt think adding Belves and Draenei to classic would be too much as long as they donāt actually do the TBC class changes. Would need fresh servers though.
The class changes Iād like to see them attempt would be to add race-specific spells to every class like the Priest has like they had planned for in the original game before the idea got scrapped due to time constraints. Maybe scatter some new items, quests, maybe some more class quests throughout the world just to shake up the āclassic metaā a little.
You know thats not happening, right? Even if, by some miracle paladins were granted on Horde, it would probably go to Taurens only.
