What content can you give casuals that is not M+, PvP, or Raiding?

I respectfully disagree but to each their own. I’m glad someone is at least enjoying the expansion, and I just wish I could.

pet battles? lol

Wow does not create “socializing” or “fun”, Tewa. They are not content.

I’ll be that guy and ask how does ff handle it?

I’ll be that other guy and ask why should we care?

Player Housing is a terrible idea to introduce into WoW. The game is not set up for it, and it would drag away a lot of time, effort and resources that I do not think Blizzard is willing to part with.

As a non-instanter myself, I would prefer more and much longer localized storylines to quest thru. Also I would like to see professions to be more varied and more relevant/useable.

What does this even have to do with casuals?

The major problem with shadowlands is that they gave trash for gear to casuals in 9.0

Now we have korthia gear, i can play in 9.0 content and kill things like raiders could during current content.

Its made the world stuff so much more fun

Right, because Normal raid quality gear for doing a few world quests was a slap in the face.

Thats not what 9.0 gave at all
I had nothing but cov gear, that i fully upgraded on, and still went lfr for upgrades.

9.1 gives the potential for that type of gear.
9.0 gave some slots you could get to around lfr level.

Yay.

You couldn’t even give several decent examples and resorted to “socializing and fun “ as casual content whatever that means lmao

Make sure to add opening mail and jump flips too

Covenant gear capped out at 197.
Normal Castle Nathria was 200 for most bosses.
LFR was 187.

Not sure what game you were playing.

Yup, I don’t get what is so hard to understand about it. I am looking at the overall enjoyment had between MoP’s Farm and WoD’s garrisons ( had both Horde and Alliance garrisons). MoP’s farm was a fun, and it did not feel like a chore setting it up. The farming part…yeah. Also the customization with the garrisons is more about the different themes than the amount of buildings. When talking about garrisons Blizzard gave the impression that they would give each race their own theme. So I am going to ding them for failing to live up to that impression.

Garrisons are not player housing. Blizzard could build housing off of that idea, just like garrison were built off the idea of the MoP farm and the Lorewalkers area.

Right so less than normal gear. Not normal gear.
And then take into account that neck, rings, trinkets… not covered under cov gear…

Yeah, you had to do lfr to get gear if you wanted to not be trash.

And then there is also that cov gear had no stat veriation so there was no choice in things.

I mean seriously if youre going to be like this about things, at least have a grip on the topic

nothing, for some reason (well we know the reason) they are obsessed with every thing being part of the gear loop treadmill, choreghast is a victim of this, in beta it was a promising roguelite game experience, but then they watered down and forced in the lego system connection

Experience has shown that if they don’t slap gear rewards onto it, people won’t do it.

Shadowlands being a perfect example.

yes rewarding people for their time is important, but you don’t need a half baked force fed system that takes away from the original concept to do that.

Rather than housing, I think that devs should let Torghast drop gear. The content is already made, devs just need to stop being stubborn about gear gatekeeping and let casuals have an endgame again.

idk torghast could work scenarios that they used to have maybe better thought out. and maybe just maybe make a real world again. housing no way it don’t fit wow and never will cause if it really did don’t you think it would of done been here long ago considering this game is 17 yrs old? quit getting on the forums and maybe go do korthia i see many people there grinding out research farming rares and seem quite happy idk.
