My friend and I got into a debate about the color of the Ruby Butterfly. It all started when I said the Ruby mount was ugly and that the pearl one was prettier. On my friend’s screen, it’s pink; on mine, it’s reddish pink. Now, yes, this depends on the monitor settings and the monitor in general, but I feel like the mount didn’t live up to its concept art.

I see red on my phone.
Phones won’t lie, but computers do depending on settings.
doesn’t matter it doesnt live up to the gothic feeling of the concept art mount lol

The metal on my shoulders from the ensemble is darker than the mount that supposedly matches it.

One is pink, with some red bits on it… and the other is red, a kind of dark-crimson-/blood-red colour.
I’m slightly confused about the question. Is this a “dress” situation or what’s going on?

By the way, the dress is blue and gold.

LOL RIGHT?
Even the weapons have the darker metal. But the mount somehow ended up a lighter silver. I’m wondering if they got too much pearlescent into the mount.

It’s going to depend on your RGB settings. Pink is a grey tone with typical settings of
R: 255, G: 200, B:200 or something like that
Where as Red is simply
R: 255, G: 0, B:0
Of course your monitor may have RGB settings so changing those will change the balance of what is being sent to your monitor to be displayed.
okay, but then i am devoiding my screen of blues and greens.
OH! I figured it out. It pulses from lighter to darker.
Give me a sec to make these screenshots smaller in size and I’ll post 'em.
Still not that dark, though.

I didn’t get the ruby stuff yet but my pearlescent wings seem darker than the pearlescent bow.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of color changing mounts nor the fact that the colors are so light.

Oh wow, I just looked at them in the game. They look really bad using the inky black potion. This is disappointing.
