Disc and holy priest are both healing specs why aren’t they lumped together? If we lump them together it means hpriest isnt factored into the “underpowered” equation, so it doesn’t receive buffs even though it’s the worst healing spec right now.
Same for hybrids, why don’t we clump enh/ele, boomy/feral? They are both dps specs afterall.
Do you see what i mean? How can you reach a logical conclusion about what to buff why having biased data, it only leads to biased conclusions.
You would much rather me play marks though, right? Since you can disarm and stop my burst on marks, where you can’t really stop anything when I’m playing BM.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
You think you did a thing, but you did not. Also I have been solidly rival 2 in shuffle and 3s this season which isn’t much but also not insignificant for me given lack of inflation, and I was 1800 with less than 50 played before patch only playing marks. This isn’t arenajunkies big dawg.
1-I was scratching my head at the chosen data presentation. If you have to explain it, maybe there is a better way. Doing a break down by spec ends up with 39 entries on your chart, not much diff from what you’ve done and no explanation needed, just good solid data.
2-You should keep doing this. It’s good info to have over a long period. I am certain Blizz does something similar internallly, but having this available to us reg players is nice. This cuts down on all the feelings based posts and keeps it all more grounded in reality. Buuut, ref #1, presenting the data by spec is almost certainly a better choice. It’s what most players who are looking at this are expecting and much easier to wrap ones’s head about. And a whole lot less defending/explaining on your part.
Data in WoW isn’t actually great for determining nerfs + buffs.
Demo is a prime example of a spec that was completely fine at launch, and was just repeatedly buffed until it’s insane. Blizzard has this beautiful trend called “buff everything till everything is OP”, which tends to mean that data is skewed towards just playing whats op at the time.
Feral is the easy example rn of what’s OP at the time (and still is), that everyone just picks it up instead of their main because it’s just vastly easier to perform on than most specs. Doesn’t inherently mean other specs are bad.
People are very slow to adapt to metas or spec/comp changes. People sleep on Blood/Protpala rn, but the moment people actually tab into trills stream to see htem abusing it, it’s going to skyrocket for instance. Never needed buffs to be like that however.
Do you even read what I write or just here for 2 sentences and flame after?
Those are the classes that need help. Resto Druid/Shaman for Healer, as they aren’t good right now and for DPS we have DK, DH, Monk and maybe Pala.
Not for nerfs, I agree with that. But usually for buffs, especially when a class is quite popular.
There must be a reason when a class is often played but barely anyone can make it to top ratings, while other classes have a lot higher representation compared to their popularity. And it is definitely not, that they suddenly all forgot how to play the game!
Uhh, I agree that monk could use buffs atm, but I don’t actually think most of these are true. Ww is still insanely tanky and cant die realistically (which you do mention) and it DOES have higher self healing than a lot of classes. I also think it has a LOT of utility between lust, Aoe stun, rop, tiger lust, clash as a positioning mechanic, and aoe knock up plus slow fall.
I DO think that its cc is severely lacking, but that’s also a product of its damage just not being impactful.
I feel like I play ww and I look okay on the meters, but ill do a full burst cd combo into a stun and not get them below 50% hp.
I agree that its tanky, but can't die realistically?! Beside a lot of specs are tanky (especially Feral and SP), WW can definitely die!
Most “healing” comes from karma, which is just an absorb but no healing. But yes, with automatic Chi Wave and Dampen Harm you have some self healing. But doesn’t that belong to the part with tankyness?
So far only the first point of him doesn’t make much sense. The other 3, especially in combination are true though! Not that the overall damage would be super bad, but just don’t have any impact. Its easy to heal which is a product of missing cc and burst.
Sorry friend, but that doesn’t work, so don’t make it bigger as it is!
Ring does not trigger a knock back dr, but is affected by it! So no RoP after knock up (and/or knock back)!
Pairing the knock up effect with tstorm or explosive trap is such a good combo. Send someone literally across a map and if you get lucky, into a place where you can pin them into a corner with ring.
