What class would you say is the Jedi of WoW?

Random topic. Just a thought that I had. I personally would say a Paladin or a Monk. I am not sure which though. Jedi were always kind of Knights. On the other hand, Jedi are also basically magical Monks.

What do you guys think?

Jedi are the most powerful.

Everything is balanced in wow or trys to be.

Nothing is like a jedi.

Human male Paladin.

Paladins, they even have deathknights they can turn into when they fall to the dark side.

Not sure about Jedi.

But shamans make for pretty cool siths with that force lightning.

Agreed. All that “at peace” yadda, yadda BS.

None, thank god, since they were a significant part of the destruction of SWG.

Man I would LOVE if they created a mentalist class for WoW like the psionics in D&D.

I would be ALL over that.

Jedi are in tune with the Force that pervades the Universe. They fight like a Paladin, but their kinship with the Force, which makes them more like Monks which by lore are in tune with their own Chi energy.

Arguably an enhancement shaman.

That is a really weird arguement. I am asking about thematic representation, not power level.

The Light works a lot lke the Force. I’d say paladins are the most jedi-like class, but they’re still very different.

Not revelant to WoW, or the topic. Also, Paladins and Monks definitely have a thematic resemblance to Jedi.

Definitely monk

Give a jedi a blaster and I’d say they’re an outlaw rogue.

Paladin, ret specifically, comes the closest thematically. Mog your armor to one of the paladin robe sets minus the helm, mog your 2H to a Very Light Sabre, and you’re as close to the look and feel as you’re going to get.

I’d say Monks. With the Sith being Death Knights

I dunno, Paladin a more obvious choice, but I think Demon Hunters could be. Brutal training, massive sacrifice to become one.

I’d say the shaman chain lightning makes me feel like Emperor Palpatine.
