Quick question. I am trying to think what class to go for a goblin. I cannot for the life of me choose, and i don’t remember what my old goblin i had back in WoD was. What class would you say would have the most fun, especially with engineering as a profession? Since i just wanna mess around with going full engineer goblin
Priest, warlock, rogue.
i find hunter and rogue to be commonly picked thematic classes for the race. though if you wish for the power of the rocket jump ability that we all get to be more utilized than i recommend a less mobile class like death knight or maybe warrior depending on the talent build. though goblins do have phenomenal casting animations, so overall it’s what class you want to choose. but if you want to benefit the most from engineering than i recommend you play a hunter as engineers can build guns as well as goggles and wrists. However speaking as an engineer player myself: do not expect to get any crafting orders. throughout the entire expansion I have only gotten 1 crafting order and that was a recraft from a guildie. so overall if you want to benefit the most out of a goblin engineer i would recommend a hunter. ( also don’t forget to use your portable bank, it’s more useful than you think) :>
hunter, eh? it could give me a class to use guns, even as transmogs finally. since my only other hunters are an undead bow hunter, and a worgen spear hunter.
Rogue seems like a natural fit.
i think maybe my first goblin was a shaman? since, i was kinda big into (and still am) the shaman class back then. it’s my number 1 favorite class in the game.
Goblins got good stealth and gun animations, so rogue and hunter are two of the first ones to go for, plus you can get the mechanical hunter pets to go all in on the theme. They also just have that warlock feel, with the wheeling and dealing, plus the rarest piece of engineer transmog, Mechbuilder’s Overalls, is cloth
But shammies does get you their unique drill totems which are neat if you want to go all engineer.
I may go hunter and shaman. I don’t mind having two goblins. Cause I can make them my horde engineers just for fun, one using it to craft explosives, guns, etc., the other using it to make stuff to compliment her drill totems and fighting. since, i LOVE the lore of the fact that Goblins made deals with elementals to become shamans. Just, the most goblin thing to do XD
There is only one answer to this. Rogue!
I have a goblin DK that I love because its like… the least thing a goblin should be. a strong tanky serious evil class being played on a grimy little green dude. and his name is peevers
I’m going to make a suggestion that you role a male character; their dialogue and /flex animation are just perfect
A Hunter or a Rogue, a Shaman works too.
I really like gobbo casting animations.
I’ve played a goblin shaman and had a lot of fun there. I try choosing a class/race that matches the expansion I’m going to play. I was going to play Cataclysm at the time.
I ran into a goblin monk in Org. His name was Punchio… he offered overpriced “sage” advice. I went to check if everyone has figured out what top dollar advice will get ya. It’s not all up there yet on wowhead. I got one about how a 100 push ups a day will make you do serious damage to someones face. This was fine.
I never noticed this little goblin monk before… must be newer. A long with a couple of others I ran across in the city. Nice to see couple NPCs got added here and there. Guessing it is due to implementation of some new race/class combos.
Hunter is the best choice to run with Engineering.
Plus, all loot is Hunter loot.
My goblin is a Bank alt. Auction spec. Time is money friend.
My Goblin is a hunter because guns and mechanical pets. The Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle from old Kara fits really well with their Heritage Armor.
auction house worker
Rogue is the only class I would consider for goblin. Maybe hunter (guns), scopes, things you can make as an engine you would actually use yourself.
Not sure why there are so many goblin priests. Maybe gameplay reasons? To my mind it does not make sense.
Warlock is acceptable, you can say you bargain with demons for power, which sounds pretty gobliny
