I’m going to make a non-healer BG class (this dude heals in PVP because elemental is trash). Is there a class you find lacking in BGs that you wish you had? I assume Hunter’s and Rogues are plentiful. Anything else?

Not really.
Meta classes are already well populated. I don’t particularly care to see classes which are less effective. I’m just there to kill people and ideally win, doesn’t matter to me which classes I achieve this with.

What? Lol it’s insanely fun in BG’s. You barely have to cast and thanks to lasso it’s a great 1v1 spec…
Always want more healers. When I heal I solo heal. When I que dps there’s no heals?!? Lol
Anything that actually attacks the enemy flag carrier instead of fighting stems of grass mid field.

Elemental is fine and under-represented in Rated battlegrounds. The reason you may feel like the spec is trash is because they lack some good defensive. They are a tankier class, but you don’t have a lot of abilities to get those Ferals and Rogues to stop hugging you. An elemental Shaman on the outskirts of a team fight that is ignored can be deadly and can single-handedly turn the tide of battle for your team. If you drop a tremor totem in a team fight and then lasso the enemy healer, you can see the enemy team melt.
Elemental is not trash. You just have zero clue on how to play ele. LOL

Ele is low-mid tier in RBGs. it can do very very well, but its not going to get a spot in most groups when the choice is … Ret or Ele, or DH or ele, or Boomkin or ele, or Spriest or Ele… etc.
its fine but other dps specs are just miles ahead and comparatively its stupidly weak.
like, you have to be strong enough to justify a spot on a 10m roster, 3 of which are heals, 1 of which is going to be a guardian, and most teams will not take an ele for 1 of 6 dps spots.
Yeah I mean I know that. The easy dunk crowd knows it too, they just wanted some cheap likes.
A hard-casting ranged DPS class with poor defensives can’t be good. Any rogue worth their salt it going to eat you. I’m always Resto when I BG. Occasionally I try Ele and weep, then it’s straight back to Resto.

Lots of ele shamans up there in Hero reach right now. The number 1 Shaman on the RBG ladder, by a large margin, is ele.
Ele shaman is good.

its not. according to arenamate. net, elemental is the 12th most represented spec above 2100, only 28 characters in EU/US combined are elemental.
there are 155 boomkins, 72 havoc, 56 rets, 89 subtlety, at that same range.

ele is like C tier… its pretty bad. its not Stier meta by any means, but its also not even off meta. its barely viable.
Wait, what? Ele is so much fun in bgs. Are you undergeared? I find Ele easier than Resto in randoms cos you are less likely to be a target.
Only done yolo rbgs so i wont count that but i enjoyed it so far, up to 1450 ish in a few yolo wins
