I’m “main”ing a Hunter because it can dw like a rogue, has +damage abilities like a warrior, is fast almost like a Druid/shammy, has DoTs like a warlock, can heal (their pet) like a…warlock, and has a badass pet.
Ironically, I’m leveling as survival, but not everyone’s a min/maxer.
How about you?
I’m a shadow priest. Probably was a huge mistake. I don’t want to spend another 17 days /played for something that is not despised by community.
I have chad aura, don’t care about silly gear colors, can kill almost anyone in pvp. But then i’m getting declined in pve and depression phase starts.
That’s like life of shadow priest - falling in and out of depression of how inconsistent your class in eyes of people

Same here Chad friend, same here
I wish I had stuck with a priest. It’s the leveling that gets me down but I have a 60 hunter now. Nothing else feels as good as a hunter to me.
He can very casually level and farm while watching tv. He does nice damage, PVP is fun. I don’t think I have the time to level an alt to 60. Maybe some level 19’s for laughs (bought tons of bis gear cheap to use or sell later)

The answer is always Shaman.

I mained rogue for all of vanilla, but I grew to love druids at some point during Wrath and have been maining a druid ever since. It’s refreshing to go back as a druid. Minmaxing be damned, I’m having a blast. (Still love my rogue though.)

Mage main, because I mained a Mage in TBC pretty extensively and all the muscle memory just makes it feel the most natural.
I do have a lot of alts, though. The mage is a tailor/skinner and feeds the alts gold pretty well.
Only in my 50s though, since I only really play on the weekends and maybe an hour or two after work during the week.

Warrior at the moment. Really teaches you to be self-reliant and self-sufficient on the road when you have to cook up your food yourself, and really think strategies through since you don’t really have any way to get -out- of a fight outside of lengthy cooldowns. It’s really quite satisfying to be able to take on an elite of equal level on the lonesome and barely pull through.
That and I’ll admit, the higher scaling later certainly drew my interest. I would have went warlock but I forgot trolls can’t be warlocks in Classic. Whoops.
Rogue. Wasn’t my first choice for PVE or PVP but overall between the two it was my best option.
I would of loved to be Resto Shaman for STRICTLY PVE but being a potato in open world doesn’t sound fun.
I would of loved playing a Warlock in PVP but spamming 1 button while threat capping myself in PVE isn’t fun.
Overall Rogue is still nearly as fun in both aspects of the game for me and being able to do stealth runs is always fun. Can make a lot of fun flashing plays by vanish immuning spells too.
I mained a mage from late 06-12. I know their toolkit like the back of my hand, it’s my comfort class. I love being able to reset fights at will, 2v1s are entirely possible if i play it right.
I have the option to blow away damage meters with single target Arcane/Frost builds or fire spec. I have the option to kill 10 or more mobs at once. I am a glass cannon in its purest form.
Warrior because I played a warrior in Vanilla.
It’s basically the only class in the game that I really like.
I’ve never been big on casters in RPGs, and I didn’t feel like making a rogue who are arguably pretty useless outside of lockboxes.
Rogue because I want to be a jackhole.
Mage, bc this was my very first main back in the day
i chose a mage finally after rerolling so many times and swapping from dead servers over the weeks. first server eventually dying off. 2nd server has a really low alliance population and constantly can’t do much because it’s pvp server so i get ganked on a daily basis it literally looks like 1 v 5-10 every single day doesn’t matter what time of the day it is finding any alliance outside of IF, SW, Booty Bay is scarce.
i mained mage since end of WoD so i have a decent idea of how to play them im not pro but i love the mage community they are very helpful and when i go back to retail i will be maining a mage again. i like mages because despite people always saying oh mage is 1 button spam only well it’s not. i’ve even seen other mages say that and when we run raids they lack the dps compared to me yet are more geared which is funny.
the only thing i hate about mages is the tier sets are always ugly imo even in retail and because they tend to be good in classic and in general they are played heavily. i feel like im playing a hunter in retail but as a mage in classic in the sense that there are SO… many damn mages in classic and SO many hunters in retail. doesn’t really bother me anymore though the bad ones will get weeded out i’d assume for progression.
also im amidst switching jobs so idk if i will even be able to raid although i want to but work schedules are always off making it hard for me to raid
At first I leveled a rogue and got him to 51. I then realized just how badly tanks are needed and sought after. I rerolled a warrior and am now level 35, almost 36. Hoping to hit 37 or 38 tonight.
Started a rogue because I didn’t play one during vanilla. The class is fun, rotation is fun, abilities are awesome and they are just a steong class overall. Rogues maintain a strong spot in pvp and pve almost the entire time while leveling and in later xpacs. As a dps, you cannot go wrong as a rogue.
Warrior is fun and hits like a truck but they have issues with surviving what most other classes can handle easily. That might change when I get some gear and become a wrecking ball.
Rogue so I can AFK anywhere I want to at the drop of a hat. Plus I’ve always mained a Rogue except during Wrath.
Enhance shaman.
I love buffing my group adn totem twisting while not exactly stellar game play differentiates me from the other hance shaman in my raid.
I also love watching mobs explode from triple windcrits.
Ret Paladin - It’s really not that bad. My only gripe is that they removed crusader strike. With proper consumables and a supreme knowledge of how to auto attack, it’s a breeze
Leveling as shadow then I’ll swap to holy later. Having tons of playing a priest!
