What Casuals (99.9%) Want

As a casual player I want open world gear progression that’s not the Forbidden Reach. Dragon riding and I do not get along. That’s why my toons will never be above 385 which I can get without going to the Forbidden Reach. What I also want is for old world flying to come to the Dragon Isles. I don’t need to go zoom zoom and I have more control over things.

Casuals would also like not to have their Class skills sidelined by a superior method given out freely (eg. the floating helmets in Legion) when completing a WQ.
I mean, sure they could provide one for the main quest (like the deep-dive equipment in BfA) but for WQs they could have a goblin nearby who could sell them the most basic equipment they need (at fair price, quality guaranteed. NO REFUNDS!) allowing players to complete the quest but also letting them benefit from the Class choice they made.

I’ve avoided this thread for many reasons, but finally, curiosity got the best of me.

This isn’t a fact and is absolutely wrong.

And you don’t speak for me or others on this either.

I like it! Support your post fully. I felt like DF out the gate was going to be potentially better for casuals, for once. My understanding of 10.1 though suggest bliz is scaling back gear and challenging content for casuals. All I hear about 10.1 is how great the gear is going to be for mythic players and raiders. I don’t get it, casuals are the backbone of the game, at least financially.

Replace “casual” with “soloist” and your post works. They aren’t the same thing.

Its nice that you took the time to ask several million people what they want so you could figure out the 99. 9%. However im going to have to complain to blizzard because by your math i should have gotten the .1% title just for doing a single mythic plus, and i think blizzard is holding out on me.

How about no.

They aren’t scaling back difficulty for casuals because casuals raid and do mythic plus. I think you mean for solo players and solo play has never been challenging.
