What can Blizzard do to make Wow Better?

An update to Warmode would be nice. We have a system that allows opt in wpvp and they never tried to bring back zone objectives? Would be a great way to burn time! (Assuming they get the shard balanving right)

This.
I’m glad that we have wowhead as a resource, but it sure would be nice if I didn’t have to tab out all the time to figure out how to complete some quests.

I will say Legion was the only expansion that was heavy on class design feeling like an enjoyable RPG experience.

So yes please. 1+

Class specific quests where they are relevant. Doesn’t need a reward, just something that let’s your class be relevant in what they do for a change.

I wouldn’t mind some world of warcraft brand ice cream sandwiches on a stick. with a chance to win a snow mobile mount. Cause, hey, if folks are going to go bonkers off a land mount we put out as a gag let’s give them an even more useless mount.

Yeah, I think the devs are starting to see that people don’t always play MMOs to be competitive and ‘at the top’, or ahead of the curve, or what-have-you.

A lot of players just want to ‘chill out’ in a virtual space.

WoW will only get better as they add stuff to enrich the world, like housing.

It’s been requested for many, many years.

My input to making WoW better.

  1. Put War back into Warcraft.
  2. Faction Wars
  3. 3rd Evil Faction
  4. Tinkers

they dont.

the people you insult get the least amount of dev time

and have since WotLK.

it’s interesting that the more dev time associated with “casual gameplay” the worse WoW apparently gets.

The fact the scourge ain’t 100% dead I’m still huffing copium to join them someday

Eh?

Wasn’t DF casual as heck, and one of the most fun expansions ever? I liked it a ton.

Dragonriding, is a casual feature. There’s nothing ‘sweaty’ about skyriding.

And it’s a great feature, at that.

SL was super-sweaty, and the worst WoW expansion of all time. I don’t think that’s a coincidence at all.

“The worse WoW gets” is your own unique perspective, probably one that’s not aligned with many casual players.

In the fluff department: Remove transmog armor class restrictions. We already have so many outliers that this limitation is actually meaningless. I shouldn’t but was shocked to see a “mage” chilling in Dornogal when in fact was a surv hunter wearing the last month’s Mage set + staff from TP.

In the PVE department: Done with the “key depletion” mechanic. Not getting anything good from a failed timed run is already punishment enough, and this would go a long way in protecting the key owner from trolls who leave out of nowhere and tanks quitting at the slightest accident.

In the PVP department: Something to prevent premades in RANDOM casual bgs. It sucks big time for the losing side - if people wanna play together with their friends, put them against other premades for a fair fight.

I can see the Scourge coming back with an Empire Strikes Back style with a new Leader to plague Azeroth once again. This time the Scourge is recruiting players to join it’s army. To help crush the Horde and the Alliance.

add scents to the game and sell a gas mask on the cash shop.

I am not saying the game is getting worse. I enjoy it more now.

I am saying that the “casual” forum posters are claiming WoW was better before WoW started focusing on making the game more casual friendly, and that after WoW started focusing on being more casual friendly it got worse. I find that interesting.

it most likely just means they are applying double standards to their criticisms.

but WE can’t smell it. They have the idea, for sure

Add new classes and races to the Scourge.
Blood Mages
Necromancer
Vampire type races

the duck mount that was promised in Dragonflight.

All the changes they have made over the years represent risks they have taken and totally bombed on. I think they need to accept the playerbase they have and stop trying to trick casuals into turning into elitists.

Bringing back separate quest lines for Horde and Alliance to follow would be cool, though I don’t know if their new timeline schedules would allow for it.
