What bots/hacks are allowed?

How about the RMT problems? You should see how much some items are being sold for in raids.

Hi chinese botter. How much are they paying you over there?

World of Warcraft is the only MMO in the market that allows openly multiboxers, you can even automate your commands so you can have, say, 5 druids running stacked using the same spells, etc, farming something. This is clearly cheating in any other MMO, but not in World of Warcraft. So, of course, the instance of a blue will be “no cheats are allowed”. But of course, if they don’t consider multiboxing a cheat, sure.

Good luck

Credit-card spec, is still the strongest spec in pve and pvp

great way to get a response from Blizzard imo.

its not the players job to report 100 bots a day… we dont pay for that… its not our job…

Oh I agree, but getting them banned makes me happy.

Technically it’s not Blizzard’s job either. You only pay them for access to the servers.

I for one, am thankful that they ban ANY bots at all.

its not blizzard’s job to fix their game?

It’s not their job to enforce their own EULA?

I am sad now after I have read your post. I feel grieved that some people actually think that this is true. Or your trolling and then you got me because I thought you were serious.

The game is fine, I’m playing it just fine.

Not really, no. They do what they can. Blizzard can’t enforce every single aspect of their EULA.

Their only required job, per the EULA, is to allow us access to the servers. Which they do.

It’s in the EULA, your $15 pays for access to the severs, nothing else.

I am thankful for everything Blizzard does beyond allowing us access to the servers. I think we all should be, because they legally do not have to do anything past allowing us server access.

Cheating

You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.

Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.

In the EULA. sigh

Where does it say that your $15 entitles you to a heavily moderated game?

That’s the point I’m making.

Yes, really yes. It’s THEIR EULA, and it’s THEIR job to enforce it. Something else to consider: As a customer you can sue businesses that allow harassment and racism either from other customers or their employees. And this is because? That’s right, it’s the business owner’s job and their responsibility.

You don’t get to say, “Well . . . here’s these rules and stuff but, you know . . . we may or may not do something.” That’s not the way business works. That’s not the way anything works.

No one in the world actually believes this. No one.

It’s amazing how far people will go to excuse others for a lack of standards.

How low we have sunk.

It is a contract you are agreeing with them that these things will be punished immediately. It is one of the main reasons I agreed to it.

Show me where it says that, I’ll wait.

They posted what the EULA says… Under Cheating:

The most effective answer is the one everyone complains about them adding the most. Tokens. They have all but eliminated gold sellers which have seriously removed the botters from live. You can ban as many characters as you want but when it takes no time to level a character through leveling runs and aoe farming they can replace characters in an instant.
