Yes but you can’t even admit to basics like classic has a little content other than leveling people (EVEN YOU) want to do. You literally could not be a raid leader if leveling was the only thing that appealed to people in classic.
Yeah, they totally came back for BFA.
Isn’t it obvious?! They came back when classic released because they didn’t want to play classic.
i didn’t get angry… i thought it was funny
correct.
if it’s got his head on it, it’s not worthy of clicking.
Did I miss a post where he said that was all that’s good in classic?
Isn’t saying that there is more than that in classic kinda making his point?
I believe that when a debate is happening it’s a different dynamic. A sort of necessary evil.
Meaning, you’re at a resource loss if you don’t obtain all the facts.
Yeah but see here’s the fun part.
You don’t get to speak for me or what I enjoy.
I loved the leveling process. It felt amazing grouping up with my Retail buddies here and there and getting levels while meeting the players who were going to be inhabiting the realm. As well as feeling the weight of certain abilities when I finally got them and how much they made a difference in combat. Any way you want to write it, people did come back for the slow and tedious leveling. Otherwise Classic would’ve failed 1 month into launch. Like many tater tots of GD claimed it would.
You missed a lot if you can’t see what he was doing. He was so interested in ‘winning’ the argument he forgot to make sense.
The entire discussion started when Pict claimed that everyone came back to classic because of the leveling experience.
That just isn’t true.
anyways going back to bed - later
Well I don’t like to speak in absolutes so yea not everyone but a lot of them did. Leveling is the only thing everyone who played classic has in common after all.
His post was about facts and the draw of a 15 year old game compared to the current iteration. He even went out of his way to hate on it.
Yes we get it’s not for you but the majority of the player base disagrees… it’s time to face facts.
Classic is a better game and people will always play the better game… there is proof now to substantiate.
try telling that to all the people who fell for (and still believe) the mis-information he spread about the silence system.
As the video contains facts and events outside of himself he can’t censor, the situation isn’t him telling people what to think. (Or, at least I ignore that part of his vids.)
I’m not even crazy about the guy, just know what there is to know and quit discrediting out of convenience.
nope that never happened either
Hear hear. Ive gotten AotC from every tier except Jaina (3 month break), and mythic raided a bit; done plenty of 10+ M+ keys, done the waste of development time/resources called island expeditions and warfronts, and the most fun ive had in wow was Tarren Mill and Darkshore pvp yesterday.
BFA set the bar so incredibly low, but that classic world pvp was a blast.
thanks for your contribution to the discussion. you’re a high quality poster.
no worries.
posting in a high quality thread.
If it was a stronger draw I wouldn’t have stopped playing at level thirteen. You might enjoy playing a running simulator but I don’t, not anymore at least. I did that rodeo once and once is enough.
I play both
I find retail more interesting and fun. I find classic grindy and boring.
So yea that’s like your opinion man.
Also, what bothers me most about classic is the classic players who come to this forum and try to stir up crap in a typical bait thread.
It’s a shame really though even when it comes down to dungeons are raids in retail, the encounter designs have came such long ways, and so has the art.
But on the flipside they have lost so much of that immersion from earlier dungeons and instead are just a streamlined experience designed more around specific dungeon routes for M+ rather than for enjoyment.
I don’t get why people say posts comparing classic wow and retail should only be on classic forums. It’s obviously a discussion that encompasses both versions of the game.
