Tired of horde this horde that. We should kill Sylvannas put thrall back in the throne and call it a day. This faction pride lore is not good anymore and makes no sense at all.
That sounds terrible as it would remove content. 
At the time, this was actually the excuse the community supported when it believed Thrall cheated against Garrosh.
In that caseā¦
His story was kinda WoDās premise condensed down into a single character; that Saurfang didnāt need the excuse of demon blood to get lost in an illusion of glorious war and conquest. Which itself was already a lesson he supposedly learned in his backstory. And was basically what the horde did in Cataclysm.
His arc was like triple-reheated food in that regard.
But by tradition the old hold on to it but the young donāt,you see now the difference of age does.He lived that age and ones mentality is stay there to be too stubborn for change even when he see thing changing around him.
In a long way,thatās what some wow players are like too stubborn to change and hold on to lore with a iron fist willing to mash anyone to change it.
The alliance community will want to drop a human leader. Iām going to regret this wish for the unforeseen future right now but the conflict should occur from the night elves. 
edit: Iām not saying that to attack players that are slighted by the story but this is the current tension within the alliance.
We got Maiev. She is a bit obsessive so she could make things work.
BUt they like to keep her part small in the story. Hell after she was made Night Elf lead at the end of the scenario for darkshore this story just dropped off the face of the earth.
But mommy and daughter leads are still in the shadowlands. The writers have ample room to play with here.
Whatta ya mean! Blizzard loves Horde so much that in writing said story(s), it takes the Horde to defeat the Horde. Now thatās sitting in the bathroom in a hurry before the group comes dm campaign story.

Not sure why everyone complains about sylvanas. At the start of the legion, she showed good judgment in retreating. Giving the alliance some time to retreat. Since she had no way to communicate with them. Then sylvanas became war chief and gave a really good speech and that was it for horde.
Then we here very little till Genn came into the story. How he even got there and won is beyond me. He lost to her in the last battle. The only thing was she trying to save forsaken and strengthen horde.
Then no talk of sylvanas in Legion.
BFA sylvanas started out strong for many horde players. She was for the horde and rally them forward. Then next patch all the Horde leaders against her and all the races for her. BFA pretty much blamed her for everything, despite most of what was going on sylvanas was not there to start. It ends with the smallest army winning by sylvanas giving up. Suarfang whole arc was to die at the end.
I look at it from outside view. Horde has been playing a backstabbing since MOP. The writers have made every leader a backstabbing, traitorous bunch. The trolls should be ruled by the king and not the two traitorous leaders they have now. NIghtborn have little interest in the horde and have instigated the blood elves against the horde. Why they are in the horde is beyond me. Void elf should have still been the horde. Due to a very unusual move, they were rejected.
It all points to the writers getting rid of/or removing horde identity in-game. AS it stands the horde have no leaders and have no way to even come out as a fraction at this point. Alliance if that favoritism you can have it and then some.
