On a more serious note, Blizzard has shafted BOTH the Horde and the Alliance!
The Horde can’t find a new good leader and have them live, and the Alliance is constantly getting Humaned out of existence! Not a SINGLE other race A side matters at all!
Forsaken lore is almost all Sylvanas!
The Night Elves might as well be written out of the game now, too!
And yet, no one that pays their subscription should be suffering like this at all!

I thought the general horde consensus was that you all still love Sylvanus and wanted her back as warchief.

I know we are not the horde of the past. But we are not a new horde too. We are nothing. Zero characterization. And what are the big change of the humans? You are all still as bland as in Warcraft 1. And the only change in the night elfs was the huge middlefinger blizzard is giving to them since bfa.
Yeah, I am sure losing those two warfronts really hurt them. Hell in game those are still going on , I mean if they actually lost how about we update the game to reflect it.
It definitely feels like the faction has changed for the worse, and I don’t see how it can be believably improved at this point. The whole “we’re not monsters just because we look scary” gimmick was already done in WC3, and weakened by Cataclysm making the horde relapse into villains who had to relearn their lesson. Having the horde do this AGAIN with the last expansion just completely turns the metaphor around in the worst way by making it into “you’re monsters because of what you do.” It sucks.
And because the devs seem to want to put more focus on cosmological stuff, where the alliance seems to have a relevance prevalence (except the shadowlands where the horde relevance was somewhat glossed over), it feels like the entire faction is narratively worthless at this point.
At this point, between draenei, worgen, death knights and hell, even void elves, the alliance is doing the horde better than the horde now.
…the horde has had vacant racial leader positions. Possible they still do if Calia is truly neutral.
To be honest, they are killing the main npc’s to make way for others to step forward do you see this? They want to change wow from recons and make it to where the next generation takes the reins. So with that who do you wish to lead the Horde that isn’t a recon of the past?
Oh, i didn’t know about the Maiev one. That’s sad. I knew about Metzen, i just wished they gave him a more interesting reason to leave.

Horde still have better storylines, better racials, better everything.
Sylvanas is STILL a Horde storyline, regardless of what anyone wants to believe.
Alliance have had literally no storylines, last relevant thing that happened was Varian being killed off by a nameless demon mob.

Yeah, i complain about the horde but you alliance… gosh darn. I don’t even know why did you still play in this faction tbh. And all will be worst in the next one with the Mad King Turalyon.
Honestly, I genuinely can’t think of anybody. BFA’s story made every single character varying degrees of complicit with War Crime Sylvanas, even the horde player character. The story sucked from start to finish and made me lose interest in the entire roster.
The fact that Saurfang could have challenged Sylvanas for a Mak’gora from the start but instead wasted the whole exp being sad baffles me.
Blizzard is lazy, uncaring, and does not take their own game seriously.
All this thread does is provide yet more proof.
The greatest person is that less known, some where in the story there is one set aside to be just that person.I know if the story writers are listening that would find away to introduce that one and just maybe they’ll listen to people that play this game .
I dk,the whole of his story wasn’t wasted it showed the the compassion of a leader and the right to die in honor,it not a sad story but a good one fitting for a warrior.
