Does anyone know what are all the things that become unobtainable once the 30th Anniversary event ends? Or know of a list already made I can find?
Or since it was an actual patch do all of the things stay?
Anniversary stuffs from vendors come back for the next anniversary as far as we’ve been told.
Timewalking stuffs will be on their respective vendors every Timewalking event.
Shop items will probably come back in the Trading Post, as the last set of anniversary mounts did just that.
So youre saying that the whole patch will come back every anniversary? Or just the items specifically?
One merchant seems to imply he won’t be back yearly, he says something about coming back every 10 years or maybe 5 but not necessarily annually
Yeah, Storekeeper Reginald that sells the previous anniversary mounts and pets, like Hatespark and Lil’ Nefarian and Baby Blizzard Bear.
The others don’t seem to have that dialogue.
Ill get the tier sets and coldflame gear just in case.
is it even possible to get all the T2 sets If I’m just starting now?
honestly, I have no idea. If you grind fast, maybe.
Don’t forget to get the Coldflame Tempest mount.
that as well.
Yes, very possible. Basically, here’s a list of what you can do.
- Awakening the Machine (10 Tokens).
- Theater Troupe Play (10 Tokens?).
- TWW weekly quests (10 Tokens?).
- Azj-Khajet Weekly Alliance (10 Tokens).
- TW dungeon grinding (2 Tokens and repeatable).
These are just things off the top of my head that I know of but there’s probably more. I know it’s like the last 2 weeks but basically, even if you were to start just this moment, you can definitely earn enough tokens to buy all the T2 sets especially since they get cheaper after buying like 2 of them so each set only costs 20 tokens. Might be a bit tough depending on where you’re starting but it’s most definitely possible just doing the weekly TWW content on alts and just transferring to one character to purchase all the sets or merely grinding Timewalking dungeons in tank or heal role.
A strategy I’ve seen people using is basically make a fresh fury warrior, turn off experience, and then spam timewalking dungeons as a tank. Fury Warrior Twinks are busted atm and you’ll one shot everything and finish the dungeons in less than 5 minutes. So if you’re down for a dungeon grind for the 2 tokens every time then that might be the best way too.
Likely possible, but you will have to REALLY work for it.
you can get them all I believe, if for no other reason I’m pretty sure the siren isle “event” rares all drop 2 tokens, so I think that’s unlimited farm. Do all the crate finding, those are something like 5 per crate and pretty easy to get. That coupled with the discount and it’s doable, not sure how fun though.
Oh shoot I forgot about that
Better work on that after I finish some other FOMO activities
this is not per alt, it’s once per week per account.
I bet Wowhead has what you are looking for.
I also bet you already knew that.
Thanks for the correction, I wasn’t sure. I’ll edit to not confuse others.
We don’t know for certain.
The shop-keeper who sells the battlepets and the mounts plainly states he won’t be back next year. He could be back as soon as 5 years, he could be 10 years his statements imply. I’d personally lean towards 5 years as 25 years is a big anniversary but I’d get the items now just the same if possible.
Yes but you’ll have to really grind.
Immediately do the guest relations story-line, all of including the detective story-line. Also look-up the guide (wowhead) for the hidden crates and find and loot all of those.
Once you’ve done both of those you should have over 150 of the event currency and will have unlocked repeatable farming of the currency. Each run of time-walking dungeons will earn you 2, each run of the Chromie dungeon will earn you 2. Each boss in Blackrock depths will earn you several.
Do the weekly quests of course as you can complete them doing other activities that earn the tokens.
Another thing, you can use alts to complete this faster, the guest relations quest-lines do reward tokens at the end of each chapter (reduced amount compared to the first time you do it) for each alt you do them on. Don’t focus solely on doing these quests, the earn rate is low. However what you can and should do is queue for content that earns you tokens and while waiting in queue do those quests in the downtime to maximize your earnings. Do this AFTER you’ve cleared all the other weekly quests as those reset in 1 day.
I would buy strategically at first, you may run out of steam and time to farm enough. So get the really important things like the coldflame gear modeled on Blizzard employee rewards, get the mount via doing the achievements (you should start doing that now).
One thing you may not be able to get is the achievement for visiting all the vista points, it switches every 2-3 days so there probably aren’t enough rotations left. Luckily you don’t need that achievement for anything.
I expect among other things that the 20th anniversary balloon chest toy will not return EVER as it’s specific to the 20th anniversary (just as the consumable 15th anniversary balloon items have not been seen since) so I’d buy that first.
I’d then focus on other things you want which may return such as the coldflame gear, the t2, and the pets and mounts which we know will return in future though you’ll be waiting 5 years at least.
yes. once you reach 100 it doubles pretty fast and just literally do everything…especially TW.
If you run multiple toons thru the Anniversary stuff you can trade the bronze tokens between characters in the currency tab.
