I am hoping for a variety of things but my primary thing being mog drops and shared reputation progress. These would be huge quality of life changes for me personally and make me feel more comfortable choosing to “main” something new each season. What do you hope for?
I hope for no more items like the duck disguiser that basically laugh in the face of the warband.
I thought the idea was to make the game more alt friendly, not come up with items that are an exception to the rule.

Warband is literally just the character select screen right now.
Account wide rep for TWW was already announced (for TWW factions).
TWW also already announced that a Mage can unlock tmog for your Warrior, etc.
I hope for a 4 man mount that spawns in my other characters as NPCs.

Right? I get the impression it’s a bit like making a character in the Diablo games, where they’re all hanging around a campfire waiting for you to pick one. If there’s actual gameplay involved at some point I’d love to hear it.

Cross server gold would be nice.
One giant proffession matts bank so incase i need that 1 extra ore i forgot to mail or dig up i can just use one from there. You can even use the bind on pick up ones on toons whi didnt pick them up
It’s not part of the current nothingburger design, but want open world followers. Just having a tank/dps on call for a little bit, even with a cooldown. Enough to take on something difficult like the ohnara arena quests that are hard to do solo and even harder to find a group to do. There can even be rares/WQs designed around that expectation, needing to bring a particular role combination.
Also would love to have multiple warbands, so every character can be put into one. Just replace the character select screen entirely and default it to the race background of the ‘lead’ character.

This is the Blizzard dev team. They’ll figure out a way to make the player pay.

What do you mean? The only thing I’ve ever paid for is a membership and expansions. Are you indicating you MUST buy other things? If so, I havent encountered that issue? The game is very much playable spending the minimum amount of money.

Apart from my hunter and rogue, I never considered my current roster of characters as knowing one another. They’ve all felt individual from one another.
I guess my biggest hope is that it doesn’t feel awkward seeing these characters sitting together at a campsite on the login screen.
That it “remembers” past transmog items that we have had/are still holding onto and automatically adds them to the correct class
I dont wanna have to farm for a 2nd tusks, bring it got it on this toon and not my plate ones

The four warband screen characters can be used as followers in world content.
Alts in your warband can be flagged as healer/dps/tank for AI dungeons.
You can pick where your warband campfire is located from many backgrounds inspired by popular zonesl
