I agree with Tumblr. Tumblr is still active and is one of the better places to write as short or as long as you want with ease of posting pictures. And if you’re good at at the html stuff you can basically do whatever you like with your set up. If you purely just want to use it as a journal, that’s all you have to do.
Stick to a theme, use it for your stories and character development pieces. Use it to keep track of IC lists of maybe things she gained or was gifted. Seems like a wonderful idea.
- Google Docs is good, I would say, as a quick documentation since it will save no matter what. From here you could just copy and paste the info you gather up while you RP so you don’t forget details right into your blog post.
(Or into a readable journal in the item I mention below)
If you like to keep track of information as you RP and want to make an immersive item , you can make an in-game journal with:
- TRP3 Extended item creation and make a readable journal you can trade with people if they also have TRP3 Extended. I have one for IC notes taken during lecture events and I can let friends read it.
Theres also:
- TinyPad and the Notes add on that lets you keep track of info in-game like a sticky notes.
For remembering situations and conversations with characters (or even problem people)
I suggest:
- Elephant.
None of these are necessary , just figured I’d tell you about them in case you want more ways to document your adventures or if you have trouble with remembering information like I do.
Oh, and this is just for fun. Since I have the idea of a journal, it reminded me of this fun thing a player made to create RP desk tops with clutter. Wanted to give this a shout out!
