Yeap, but we progressed his level of thinking and evolved into learning we are are part of the realms we play on. There’s less of a need for regular friends and guilds if the system can be automated. He was preaching a selling point, but not being honest. That’s his job. To be someone official to make a official statement that the sheep will digest. Well the sheep have spoken and he’s been proven wrong like how J Allen Brack said we thought we wanted progress servers, but we don’t. He was proven wrong and had to swallow the bullet and comeback out one year later and tell us he was wrong.

Is that not life? Sometimes things just don’t go according to plan. Its rather selfish and foolish to automate a game because life things happen. A volture capitalist would put dollars over game design but a mmo player should understand that a game that relies heavily on other people should require a senifigant amount of planning and effort to clear. Having to dumb down content makes that content less valuable.
New raid drops: people see it and clear it first week with lfr because its face roll then they end up unsubbed because there’s nothing to strive for. You’re part of the instant cratification crowd. This level of thinking has proven to hurt WoW more then keeping it profitable.

I grew up in Bethlehem PA. Son of a Bethlehem steel worker. My family was union democrats as was everyone I knew, except for the kids of Bethlehem Steel management. We all hunted, we all owned hunting rifles. I’m still a democrat though I’ve become far left. I still hunt and I own a few rifles. I know lots of democrats and even many on the far left that own guns.
You’re education development is not very high. Aren’t you the one who never learned that the National Guard is a state based organization and it can be called up by the state’s governor and it doesn’t require the president or any federal authority to do it. You really should face the fact that you don’t read enough to know much about anything except how to drive a truck.

Democrat and far left are not the same thing. You may be thinking Deep Blue. There’s supporting your team and there’s taking political positions to the extreme.

I don’t support my team. I vote for the least objectionable candidate. I simply hate the democrats less than I hate the republicans. Republicans have earned my complete and utter disdain for the last 30 years.

So the biggest argument anti-rdf people have is that you should have to join a big guild to find people to dungeon with. Cept the problem is, when so many people are quitting, it doesnt matter how many people you spam invite. Im in one of the biggest spam guilds on my server and theres still not enough active players to form dungeon groups with. Most of these people give up leveling because of how tedious it is, and so now we have tons of inactive low levels that will never come back. Guildmaster kicks them after a month of inactivity and is constantly adding new people. Doesnt matter when the numbers look like this at peak hours:

Its been said 400 times but the anti rdf people are just trying to gatekeep peoples fun. These people arnt even leveling alts or partaking in the system that they swear so much to live by. The only friends Ive made dungeon questing have almost all quit out of frustration. The social experience is pretty much dead outside of guilds

Of course all you would see is the show. You have a superficial understanding of everything. The show is designed for people like you. The truth is behind the show they are extremely powerful people who have a massive effect on the life of Americans and since America is the most powerful military and economic force in the world a massive effect on all people.
No, its that you should treat the mmorpg as an mmorpg and make social connections. A guild is an example of that. There is also friends lists, becoming a part of the overall community, exc. You can use discord to stay in touch with multiple guilds. I do this and it works wonders for being able to get any type of group i want. Leveling quest group, dungeons, and even heroics and raids.
I just finished using this to get my druid to 80. Next will be a holy paladin or dk tank depending on what the next Leveling group i join or organize needs. The one i did for my druid had people from 3 separate guilds in it. We didnt all level at the exact same rate, so the last level of my druid was done from questing because i fell because my RL isnt giving me many hours to play.
