You know the Alliance is always crying about wanting a new playable race, how about if we give them an anthropomorphic camel?
Technically we already that in the form of the Frostborne Dwarves who live in Storm Peaks and who are Alliance allied.
A desert is any place on earth receives less than 25 centimeters (10 inches) of precipitation a year. As snow counts as precipitation, you can have snowy deserts, which we generally call Tundras.
We don’t know how much snow the storm peaks gets, so it’s possible it classifies as a “desert”.
No, a “tundra” is a region where trees don’t grow because it’s too cold. If it’s also dry then trees couldn’t have grown there anyway. That would be a desert .
