Literally my only complaint with Legion Timewalking is the court of stars cocktail party “where’s waldo” minigame. I know there are addons for this, but an intuitive search isn’t bringing any standalone contenders to the front.
What do y’all use? Is there a standalone like with the Tirna Scythe maze?

DBM/Wigs should work with each other for it.
How does work per se? Does it just light up the correct mob?

You could bring a DH hehe. After you talk to all 5 we can see the add with Spectral Sight
Sit quietly at the top of the stairs and wait for the problem to be resolved.
After a few hints it’ll just glow next to the right mob. It’s great cause we just walk around.

Pretty sure we used a weakaura for it back in Legion, which may still exist today.

This is what I use because it’s an incredibly easy “mini game” if you just talk to your group, only difference for me is that the second and third /i’s aren’t necessary
I mean, yes, the “PUGs aren’t people” approach is unfortunately an option, but I expect to be doing timewalking with friends equally unfamiliar with the dungeon, and I’ll be tanking, so I need to finally actually learn this.
You tenchically dont. One person can do it all, its just faster to participate.
But some addons just tell you in the group based on text instead of you typing it yourself.
Eh, culturally there really isn’t room for a tank to “be new” and hope someone else knows what they’re doing in this community. I usually DPS timewalking in legion BECAUSE of this dungeon, but I’ll be tanking this coming round so I’m looking into options.
I’m confused, why can’t you just talk to the patrons, type their clues into the chat, and then find the one who fits?

But this mini-game doesnt actually involve role specifics, so being a tank or a healer has nothing to do with it.

Well that’s the way I always did it in 2024, but you’re right, things may have changed since then, we don’t know.
Leadership responsibility is generally on the tank, unfortunately. People generally queue DPS to not have any responsibility.
