Could someone explain for an old fart what the difference between “Enhanced Boost” and normal 70 Boost is?

Would help me to know when and where to use this.

As of right now, boosting to 70 whether you pay additionally for one or get the boost with pre-purchasing TWW results in the same items: Epic 424 gear, extra bags and gold and resources.
However, it is not a guarantee your boost will work as intended so I suggest holding off boosting anything. Many things are not working not only for the boosted toon but for the account the player boosts a toon on.

You get the four main factions at renown 20 and Loamm at 12. However, there is a bug where some players aren’t getting all of the renown they’re supposed to. So, between missing renown, missing rewards, missing gear and the inability to purchase renown rewards, I would not recommend boosting anything.

Wow. That seems a bit excessive in terms of rep…

Although great for a new character, it sure does make me annoyed to think that my main which played heavily most of the expansion is only at 17 or so rep (because they didn’t get any of the “Word of a Worthy Ally”) buffs, yet a new character can just fast track right by it all?

I sure hope they do something for chars like that, and do something about Profession points. Really hating these Knowledge points without any sort of catch up, and it makes any thought of swapping to a non-gatherer character untenable. Rabul is not an acceptable “catchup” mechanic. We need to be able to convert Flightstones and or Resources into Knowledge Points. Especially since 10.2 is the last patch.

I took a break throughout Season 2. So my Renown was on average a 12 across the board (minus Loamm who was zero.) Yes, it kind of does suck that with a boost the renown is sold to you. I have ultimately switched mains because of it. It is far easier to grind the remainder of the renown on a boosted alt.
Also, most of my toons are gatherers as professions were terrible if you weren’t crafting on a main. Alt crafting is way less friendly.
I really hope next expack the disparity for professions is fixed.
