my whole topic is about the normal daily life on all my characters, where trade/lfg is filled with selling Boosting and finding groups for anything is so painful as it takes hours sometimes, and among those groups there is a chance that leader will kick you to replace you if he found a better class and ofc the ninja looting can still happen & everything anti lfd claim that lfd will bring to the game? is already already happening in tbc-c
However i’m not the only one facing the same issue because it’s clearly seen there are tons of people having same problem you can check Wille poll with 38,000 vote as 62% want LFD and from reading comments it’s clearly obvious that thousands wants LFD But the anti-LFD group is denying all the facts about what’s happening and in the same time they’re completely ignoring our Gameplay experience for selfish reasons.
it’s insanity to ignore problems & claim that such problems doesn’t exist when they happening on daily bases to alot of players.

Zipzo: You don’t have to sit around spamming chat and trying to form a group to play dark souls. You just turn it on. Would you still defend dark souls if there was a 30m wait time when you booted it up, but before you were allowed to play?
Doesnt have to necessarily be fun for it to be an important part of the gameplay loop.
I don’t find getting turned in to baby batter by dark souls bosses to be very fun, but when you put in the time and effort to kill them…it’s rewarding and it felt worth it.
Not every single tiny little aspect of a game is intended to be rewarding/fun in and of itself, games shouldn’t be made to coddle you.
I mean, even when I’m playing the healer I get scenarios where we can’t even find a tank after spamming for 1 hour (Max level stuff too, not like SFK or something) and then the groups give up because we can’t find one.
Then when we finally do get a tank, enter the dungeon and start pulling… if just one thing goes wrong and we wipe, everyone leaves and we have to start all over again. Whereas, if we had RDF, replacements could easily be found. I’ve mostly given up on even trying to get groups going for anything outside of TBC content. I can’t imagine what it’s like out there lol.
Either you don’t pug and always run with friends/guildmates, or you are just extremely lucky.
Just being honest, but while that moment has become a meme, the internal logic behind the phrase actually isn’t really all that wrong, and sort of sound tbh.
Sometimes players simply don’t know the right way to get what they are actually seeking. They know what they want as an end result, but don’t know jack sh about how to design the mechanisms behind how they achieve it.
Sometimes players make bad suggestions. I know this is hard to believe.
1st of all LFD has nothing to do with end-game content in wow, 2nd does spending hours saying “looking for dungeon…etc” that’s called effort?
meanwhile you’re playing a re-release of 14years old expansion where everything is very known and you talk about effort/worth, so are you satisfied when you play a game with walkthrough?
It is very accurate. But the reality is WoTLK didn’t have to NOT HAVE LFD. It directly contradicts the Classic experience because this tool exists in the last patch and it will cause us to go into that mode. Heroics are much more valuable on WoTLK than they were on TBC and this will cause a lot stress on people.
Sure, but #somechanges throws a wrench in to that.
We knew that Blizzard would be making changes. Fair enough you don’t like this one. I didn’t like some of the changes they made in Vanilla or TBC, and I didn’t mind others. I dealt with it.
But all the changes made were for the good, right?
How can you justify a change that is for the worse? (Drums was a collective derangement from sweat people that weren’t sweaty enough).
i won’t ask you to list all those changes but you should be aware that non of those changes had this major impact like what we’re having for LFD and it looks like the people in favor for LFD are more.
so we have 2 cases
1- blizzard is lying when they said "we’re listing to the community (lvl58boosts & 70inc)
or
2- blizzard only consider certain type of players “The community” and they don’t care about everyone else.
in the end i just feel bad for blizzard because they wasn’t aware that almost everyone in classic wants lfd.
Yea yea, I’m aware you are of the disposition that any single thing in any game that doesn’t bring about pure joy means it must be some developer oversight.
So lfg was being used to look for a tank drop seemed to be the case. They were there a good while too. I was walking all over darnassus and even fished to boost that score and work on cooking. A good 45 minutes of crafting, fishing and AH/mailbox crap going on there.
Well, how to put this way.
The debate about having or no LFD is like discussing whether the large majority of players should have an option or not, because the other side (lowest minority ever) is either trolling or unironically believes that LFD is bad and don’t want others to have the option, while existing or not LFD doesn’t affect their gameplay as they can simply not use it. They can spam for hours LF tank or LF healer and play with those that don’t want LFD.
