What’s the point of grinding in Wrath if Cata is coming out?

I wonder how long they’ll drag it out lol.

Dude, you literally just post a multiple paragraph complaint at least once a day. Stop the trolling please

And you respond to each of them, if you don’t like it then stop giving me attention.

If you haven’t done ToC, it’s quite fun. They set up a daily’s area, with crazy jousting etc. That was how I made my gold back in the day. I was too lazy to farm, but I would joust all day at the tournament grounds lol.

Ulduar is next, so you’l have to wait on ToC probably up to a year, or next summer? Not sure how they’re planning it all.

Just stop trolling dude. 100% you dont even play classic. You just come here to complain about it every day

Yeah ToC sounds cool, I’m excited for Ulduar as well.

This first Naxx phase is very easy but I’m sure it’ll get a little bit more difficult as tiers move on, I might have to start raid logging once DF drops though.

Why do Naxx if Ulduar is coming out?

Why play game if new game come out?

Why breathe if die?

What’s the point in eating if were all going to die in the future anyway?

I like these kinds of threads.

Feels good finally being a casual, I feel like I can step outside and touch grass again instead of reading another wowhead BiS list.

Gotta be hardcore to play classic?

Gotta “get gud, top 1% parses”?

I’d be willing to bet that all you need out of wrath is to uninstall your BS add ons. Keep the utitlity stuff that helps you, but parses, logs, anything that compares you to another soul playing the game, out. And you will likely have a better time playing.

I mean… It’s not.

This isn’t the nature of live service games, this is the nature of what companies WANT live service games to be. You’ve been conditioned into thinking this is what HAS to be in a live service game, but it’s actually not, it’s the nature of a themepark vertical progression game. There are plenty of examples of horizontal progression games that are wildly successful, amd also sandbox games that are also largely successful. Eve Online is actually an example of both horizontal and sandbox gameplay and it’s had a pretty steady population for nearly 2 decades now.

Unfortunately however, the playerbase has consistently shown that they are willing to mindlessly perform the same content day in and day out for hundreds of hours, and so wow’s content and quality has been on a steady decline, because people are just so conditioned to accept braindead, repetitive gameplay.

(thank God Civ 4 wasn’t on Steam the whole time)

This one was funny to me lmao.

This comment made me think of GW2 and how you can get BiS 3 years ago and it’ll be relevant 3 years later even in new content.

Why do you think I stopped wiping. I mean, we’re only gonna poop again later right?

WoW has always been a hamster wheel. Some people hate questing and dailies and doing the same dungeons/raids over and over again. WoW is probably not a good match for those people.

I am always amused by those who rush to max_level and then sit in whatever_capital_city and complain about how bored they are. Maybe they should be playing another game?

I’m one of those retired adventurers who likes questing, likes fishing, and enjoys BGs. The minute it begins to feel grindy, I stop playing.

Wiping?? Imagine not having a bidet in 2022, smh.

Wrath is popular enough to warrant a handful of era servers, don’t worry.
