my current BG3 character is a Dragonborn.
My point that furries try to claim ownership of all anthropomorphic creatures in media still stands. Still mad that people think I’m a furry because I play a pandaren when I just think their lore is cool.
There’s definitely weirdos and bad subcultures in the furry community, one of my best friends is a pretty hardcore one and he has some absolute disdain/hate for the groups that give the whole community a bad name.
Pandas are awesome. I too love their love. Pandaria is definitely up there as one of my top 5 fav expansions.
I know a lot of furries. Myself being one. And most are absolute sweethearts. A lot of furries also do a lot of community work for sick kids and such. It’s a pretty wholesome community that gets trashed because the weirdos give all of us a bad name
If it’s any consolation I’ll never forgive furries for what they did to werewolves. One of my favorite creatures of the night edging in a silver between gold for vampires and bronze for zombies. Now a perpetual laughing stock because their folklore yes does include having a literal fursuit in some cultures.
At least the Worgen can still look monstrous though and somehow the Tauren dodged this bullet entirely though. As for the Vulpera? Look I’ve been to drag shows in Chicago, I’ve been to pride parades in Milwaukee, I’ve been on New Orlean’s Bourbon Street on Halloween. I’m not an easily shocked man. But the more, animated, Vulpera RPers?
Dracthyr and Pandaren are among my favorite races.
Again, what are you even trying to argue? Illidan screwed up? I agree. I think that is pretty obvious.
The facts are still:
- Illidan intended to follow through with his word
- He kept his plans secret because of pride and paranoia
- Kael’thas and Akama thought he was breaking his word. (again, because of how Illidan handled it)
- Both Kael’thas and Akama rebelled for their own reasons.
- Illidan was defeated before he could follow through.
Not entirely, just became way less popular with that scene when Worgen, and eventually Vulpera showed up.
While it has been clarified to be true to Monks and Shamans, I like to believe that Warriors share the same “power source”, that being Chi, the primal life force that all living beings have.
To me, Monks use it in a “Lawful/orderly” manner, harnessing it through discipline and a stable state of mind.
Shamans harness them in a neutral, in it’s more “natural” state, so they can keep the peace between the Elementals.
Warriors on the other hand harness it in a “chaotic” way, letting their emotions to run wild in the field of battle, allowing them to perform all of their superhuman feats like the Hulk jumps, making their weapons spin on their own, slamming the ground so hard it cracks, turning their skin into rock, etc.
Idk, just how I explained in my head how player Warriors are superior to your average grunt, footman or knight, they aren’t just normal people with weapons, a lot of the Dwarven-based technics that Warriors have are basically their own version of magic.
garrosh supporters survived in the valley of honor where you cant go in the org raid
and they have their own no go zone that is orc only. ingame there is a lot of maghar around there also which fits.
Suramar was full of leylines I believe they were called. The mages were merely tapping into them to teleport around. It was why we had to use those leyline devices to power them up.
Meanwhile the other leylines throughout the world were much more unknown to them thus more difficult.
But I agree, teleportation is rather easy these days, but magic exists to prevent teleportation as well.
Illidan got a redemption. His servants did not.
Pretty sure Vashj is ok with her current role in Maldraxxus and Kael will likely redeem himself, soon enough, in Revendreth.
Revendreth redemption can take eons.
i did like how vashj recognized if you killed her tho.
Both are dead. Illidan is not.
Even if that was true, it would not change anything I have said.
Also,
Akama was never treated as needing redemption.
Kael’thas did at least start his redemption in Shadowlands.
Akama is alive.
Kael’thas is not dead because he turned on Illidan. He was killed because he turned on the Blood Elves.
Not currently dead, but he was for a while.
And dude, the moving goal posts is just crazy. It is like you are looking for an argument. Nothing you have said remotely changes anything about either Illidan’s intentions, failure to disclose, or either the reactions of Kael’thas or Akama’s.
Scarab lords are just giant dreadnought/dragoon sarcophagi used to house mortally injured nerubians.
I want some justice for my man. He didn’t deserve to be killed as a side villain.
He got what he wanted while Kael’thas failed with everything.
