I see people writing that prot is horrible, I don’t play much prot on alts myself so I dunno. I know they took ignore pain off GCD and increased Vanguard passive bonuses in 8.1 , that will help a bit.

How it used to be… do you mean the stat templates that made only ilevel matter in legion? or before legion?

I didn’t like stat templates much… or how food and drink didn’t work or potions mostly didn’t work and stuff, and trinkets didn’t work in bgs.
