Eh, I can’t really take credit for it too much. Most of that idea comes from memes and stuff, although Matt Colville does a great job of summing up LotR as a DnD campaign here:

Heh heh heh, more like Darkside gone Lightside.

“I like Hellraiser, Alien, and The Ring. Devil’s Rejects is just one movie, though they did make a sequel. Same with Dagon. Haven’t seen The Gates Of Hell.”

“I love the Riddick Series, can’t wait to see the next one. I love the Predator ones, and AvP as well. Saw was good, in the beginning, until it became just another Gorefest. I also love the Nightmare On Elm Street Series. As well as the Machete Movies.”

“Oops… Correction… The Devil’s Rejects IS the second movie. It is the sequel to House Of A Thousand Corpses.”

That’s a great video! I used to play AD&D 1st edition ages ago. I DM’ed a few times, but overwhelmingly played much more.

An inflexible Dungeon Master is a terrible thing. It’s all a balancing act.

there’s this one movie i’m thinking of and i don’t remember the name and the plot was so strange don’t think i can even begin to explain was one of my favorites growing up it had warlocks and witches and stuff…
i always think on this one when the topic comes up /Sigh

“Can you remember any of the Actors?”

Old 70’s movie, or was it very early 80’s, something like that. Was the final in a trilogy starting with the movie Zombie by Lucio Fulci.

OMG! Yes! Saw was f’ing intense!!

In the movies, Danny Trejo, seems like someone who if he moved next door to you, your lawn would die, but in real life, he’s the nicest, coolest guy ever.

I loved Nightmare, but my only criticism of it is being that it’s in dreams, it had so much more potential, but that might have been a budget thing at the time. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the series, it’s just me being picky. :sunglasses:

not really but i remember a seen that a witch uses magic and made this dude vomit fire and it came out in like 1997 i think that probably don’t help much
i will let you know if i can track it down

“Interesting. Almost sounds like one of the Warlock Movies.”

“I love that Nightmare On Elm Street taught me how to battle my own Night Terrors. I found the fact that it was set in dreams extremely captivating.”

“Danny is a charmer, irl, that’s for sure.”
/lol

Hmmm, actually, that does sound familiar. When he vomits fire, was it something he wanted to happen, or did the witch force him?

Oh that’s so cool! Healing Horror Movies for the Win!!
