Clearly the real one doesn’t have the wires poking out of her head like a battered robot.
Don’t worry about it too much. She’s got her own business to look after. Although, we have talked about filling in for each other during vacations.
If that one shows up looking like that, get her to an exceptional engineer at once!
Got any recommendations? I have a little flying machine that requires an engineer to fly and so I can’t use it any longer.
Highly recommend the mighty and majestic sky golem. It runs like a todler with a full diaper but flies like a patriotic burb
That sounds like a licensing problem, not mechanical. Gyrocoptor licensing goes hand in hand with a aeronautics engineering certificate due to the complexity of the craft yet its basic controls. You really have to have a clear understanding of both. Later mechanical air craft have an number of features that simplify operation so just about any wing nut can fly them.
I wish I could afford that. Maybe if I didn’t spend all my gold on the glorious alliance treadblade I would actually have some cash to spend on flying machines.
A well spent purchase though. Very impressed. Hows everyone today btw?
I still prefer a gryphon myself. Small carbon footprint, fuel efficient, low maintenance (although she gets a little cranky when she’s hungry), quite propulsion, smooth ride, heated seat, anti-theft, auto-piloting, and you can’t curl up all comfy and cozy with a machine on a cold night of camping.
Bored at work, mostly. Figuring out forum stuff–no complaints so far, really.
At work. kicking the clock to make it tick faster so I can head home and put up the tree for Winter’s Veil.
Yes I know it’s early, but there was a family tragedy that struck shortly after Pilgrim’s Bounty last year, so we’re hoping to get a head start on the festivities and enjoy them while we can.
Did you read a word I said about how harassment is often nuanced, subtle, and that moderators can’t pick up on it so flagging posts is pointless because the moderators won’t realize it?
You seem to have these wearily fanboy obsessive blinders on, going so far as to victim blame.
It’s not my fault the people who developed this software have never been the target of real harassment and have poor design policies. It’s not my fault Blizzard choose this garbage software and didn’t think things through.
Hating on Discourse on a Discourse-based forum.

EDIT:
The problem is not the software. It’s the people. The moderators can only do so much. If a post offends, report it and move on.
The forum didn’t run software that disallowed blocking until the other day.
If blocking existed on this forum software, I’d have blocked you already.
What part of some forms of harassment are subtle and will go over moderators heads and the best way to avoid them is to allow people to block the harassing poster don’t you understand?
I know you think you’re a hot shot because you moderated some forum for some basically dead game but you really don’t have a nuanced understanding at all of what I’m talking about, you’re just mindlessly worshiping the decisions of a software designer that didn’t think things through.
Here’s what I wrote earlier about the problem, perhaps you can actually read it instead of blaming the victim and dismissing valid concerns due to some weird fanboyish obsession you have.
All right, y’all need to cut it out and take the discussion elsewhere if you’re gonna fight each other. Not liking the software is fine. Liking the software is fine. But what isn’t fine is having a forum slapfight.
Yeah, this is kind of a gross sentiment to see around here. Removing the block feature is worthless. It needs to come back.
I wholeheartedly agree…
…when it’s actually what’s going on.
I’d rather see people give the flag feature a chance to prove it’s worth before mindlessly asking for features that are impossible because the software platform literally does not support them.
@Zandrae:
I’m sorry you got harassed. I never originally intended my words to come across as me blaming you for anything related to your harassment. I could just as easily claim you’re harassing ME by constantly telling me how “bad” this software is. Again, I’m sorry you got harassed. Tell it to the moderators.
My dissenting opinion is that this forum software is garbage because it does not fully protect the victims of abuse and that anyone who dismisses the suffering of victims and stands against features to protect victims of abuse is also garbage.
Flagging will never work because of how Blizzard’s policies and most gaming companies’ policies work.
Apology not accepted. Stop talking to me.
anywhoo back to the FUN conversation.
Nah, screw it. People we are better than this. If we cannot come together as a community to support those that need support then why even bother?
Zandrae has good points (albeit a questional delivery method) about the lack of the blocking system. I stated emphatically on another post (different thread) that I didn’t think it was a good idea to not include the ignore feature, but it was one nonetheless. Personally I find complaints about things I cannot change to be worthless and a waste of the breath used to voice them. That’s me personally.
And I also appear to have pissed someone off by defending the rights of the software developer to make this decision.
But I can tell you this, if someone comes in here and makes derogatory comments towards someone, I’ll be exercising that flag button as much as I can because that’s what the community is for.
I think this overall topic is best left dropped.
Currently violates, uh… three of the four rules for these lounges.
