I loved ineffable and being like a weird rogue/healer hybrid
This is unironically my favorite pvp season so far (I only played in bfa before this, so small sample size). Every class feels represented and viable in some way (obviously still some broken stuff, but every class has some niche thatās strong).
I also think it made me a MUCH better player because itās so much easier to learn from mistakes and how to punish other players with how fast the game is.
Ineffable hpalla was hilar. I think for my vers 3v3 set I had some ineff pieces. Having two hojs in a go felt so troll. Once had a go where rylen repād while I hojād kt into a fear into a dr rep into two dr fears into my hoj xd
Yes. Notā¦ in PvP though. PvP was horrible. Corruptions for PvE were pretty fun though. That said, the entire expansion was pretty much garbage until they released the corruption vendor.
It wasnāt fun at all, what part of doing visions, m+ and dailies was fun?
Idk at the time BFA s4 was the worst season I had played, yet it still clocked in at probably a 5.5/10. I just had to rate it lower than all of Legion and BFA s1. SL S1 is looking like itās getting a solid 4.5/10, only reason it isnāt getting a 4 is because the first 2 weeks or so were fun
Itās hard for me to give an unbiased opinion on SL S1 though because typically I raid, do m+, and pvp and for some reason I canāt quite articulate I find all PvE this expac to be awful so that sort of compounds on top of my dislike of pvp for this season, because itās basically the only content I halfway want to do, and it sucks too.
I totally agree. I always new people would start to miss BFA a bit eventually. I was pretty good and fun. I made this post below summing up the expansion before Shadowlands came out and I find itās become more relevant. I still think Shadowlands has had a pretty strong start. Now to see if it has the backup support in good patches that add compelling things. The pvp changes next patch look good. The DK ones and disc priest ones (classes that I play) look to be interesting.
BFA was an above average expansion
OWL PLAY ALL DAY WAS NOT FUN. Believe me. Believe me.
Yeah corruptions were fun in pve. I tried a full ineff disc priest build and theorycrafting different breakpointt and reacting to having random 10 sec windows where I can spam penance/solace/xglobal offensively was a blast. Similarly, I had a ton of fun in endless corridors this patch when I did it for the maw mount. But having corruptions in pvp led to some really toxic playstyles without counterplay, and having pve trinket ilvls be bis in pvp was super unfun also. Not to mention the complexity of scaling and essences making it so hard to actually figure out what was correct to play. I like the current design in a competitive pvp environment way better.
I had more fun in BFA sadly even with destro locks blowing ppl up. All my skills on my DH were borrowed powers and they were obtainable by playing the game.
Flame
Gushing Wounds
Drest/Motorcycle.
Was much easier to get gear and I wasnt 25% less powerful vs rank 1s and top rated players. I had a chance in every 2s match I went in. Now i queue up in the 1400-1600 range and fight nothing but RBG players who suck in the area but dominate me because I cant survive a hit from them. SL is terrible worst experience Ive had in pvp in a very long time.
