The classic beta version of DBM allows you to set a waypoint with an arrow pointing to it via the /dway command.

It looks like the twitch app is already working with classic now and doesn’t try to update classic addons for classic to retail versions, though it seems that the get more addons section lists all addons including retail ones.

I also noticed in the twitch app there is already a LFG addon: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/classiclfg which I haven’t tried yet but from the description it seems to combine addon style LFG system with chat parsing and advertising.

edit: it loads! but it seems to just be a really early development/test so I’m not sure it functions yet even if other people were actually using it.

Made a hunter, got him to lvl 10 and got done with the getting a pet questline.

One thing I remember from Vanilla and loved it was this addon Fizzwidget Feed-O-Matic so like to request if one or something similar can be made for classic…

Anyone have a good Aura Tracking addon yet? WA2 loses a ton of functionality. (Tons of custom code needed to just handle “Target Debuff” timers.) I’ve almost made it work, just curious if anyone figured it out yet. :slight_smile:

Don’t know if this has been mentioned before as I haven’t gone through the entire thread, but these RP addons existed during Vanilla, and thus do not fall under the “garbage” category. They communicate between players- not between realms. Pretty sure the first one I remember using was called Flag RSP.

Just wanna say how awesome the OP is for getting this all going.

Side note for any addon gurus, does anyone know of any addon that detects unpartied friendly players in the area (X-yards) and creates ad-hoc targetable raid frames for them? Looking for something to better assist others out in the world, toss out heals and buffs, assist in wPVP, etc

Excellent point and exactly why I’ve argued that Classic should be normalized to contemporary play-styles and modern technology. In other words, proportionally more difficult.
