We're getting $2000

That was definitely a major contributing factor, but the government had launched a lot of programs to support the war, which also created jobs as well. Disney almost went under, for example, but made films and cartoons under government contracts that helped them stay afloat.

The problem with the economy now is the Rich. They’re simply not paying their fair share. Look at Trump’s tax returns. He’s paid more in taxes to China than to the US. That doesn’t make him or anyone else who uses those havens a smart businessman/woman. It makes them exploiters.

No my dude it was largely war that got us out

Ok, whatever you want to believe on that one.

Well when when the war started in roughly three years Unemployment declined by 7 million

LOL, even Rudy in multiple cases being asked in court directly by the judge if there was fraud saying there wasn’t before launching into a diatribe of unprovable absurdities. Because even Crazy Uncle Rudy knows he’ll be disbarred and charged with perjury if he lies in court and says there’s fraud. Which is why when he said it, it was never in court.

Only if the war isn’t being fought in your country. Check how well the military suppliers based in Germany did in WWII.

What’s good for business is not necessarily good for the economy though. We had a War in the Middle East when we hit the 2008 Depression. That war did nothing to stop it.

I should have said “In America, war is good for business” for exactly that reason.

By national security, you mean funding some rebel group in some godforsaken place that will attempt to overthrow their country’s leaders. And than in 5 years this rebel group will be an enemy of the US.

Not really related. The 2008 recession was spurred by a housing bubble that had little to do with war in Afghanistan and Iraq and everything to do with criminal levels of deregulation of the financial sector.

That’s because it didn’t put anybody to work World War II did plus There was less automation than to

I don’t disagree, but was making a point that while something can be good for, ‘business,’ that doesn’t make it good for the economy. A war is not a solution to a depression.

Uh huh. I think I’ll trust the word on actual scholars and statistics over a random forum know-it-all, ok? Ok. Bye

It’s not intelligent to argue politics with people on the internet.

None of you look better than anyone at all lol

That’s all.

True. But for military contractors like Haliburton it’s great. Unfortunately, those companies have a lot of sway in this country.

Right, the number of votes is what matters, but when we’re discussing fraud then where those votes came from matters.

Trump flipped multiple counties that voted for Clinton and Biden, which again points to a decrease in popularity.

Again, all of the Bellwether Counties except ONE voted for Trump. Biden’s win defies basic election trends.

Do you not understand what a Bellwether County is?

The Bellwether Counties and county wins in general are tracked by which presidential candidate was voted for. The fact that Biden barely got a quarter of the counties of Obama or Clinton, with only ONE of the indicative Bellwether Counties, means that there was reduced Democrat turnout in general.

To make the case that Biden still won the popular vote, that means those few counties (cities mostly) had to contribute an extreme number of votes to overwhelm the remaining upwards of 300 (including a significant number of counties that Trump had won that previously went Democrat). That simply didn’t happen without fraud.

Nice hint of racism in there.

Plenty of Democrat politicians are on footage saying mail-in ballots are susceptible to fraud, as have several left-wing news sources pre-2020.

And it’s a complete waste of time, but it’s so hard not to. The temptation is sometimes too much.
