No because then how would I play WoW and it at the same time? My PC is dedicated to WoW, Work, and cat videos. Most other games I buy for console so I can play them while playing WoW. It is a very elegant set up.

Both sides playing games. GOP offered another $1200 back in July and that went no where. Now $2000 will go no where. Extra unemployment for some should help though

McConnell trying to add a poison pill to make it unpalatable to Democrats. I doubt it will provide much political cover to the Senators running for re-election in Georgia. $2k or no $2k. That is the question people are seeing right now.

You’d simply run them both at the same time on separate monitors. I use to be heavy into consoles about the time the ps2, xbox, and gamecube were a thing… (had all 3) then WoW came out and I never really went back to consoles. I had a 360 and a ps4, but my interest in console really tampered off. Now it is just PC or nothing.
No $1600 this year. There was a $1,200 stimulus check though.
I mean literally, other countries are paying people to sit at home. The deficit should not be used as the reason to not send out more direct payments to people.

What’s going to happen is the republicans are going to do exactly what the democrats want them to do, vote no to the $2000 stimulus checks. In turn it is going to give republicans another back eye when they tell the nation we don’t need money to make ends meet and it will hurt their chances of winning the runoff election in Georgia that could give democrats control of the federal government for at least the next two years.
That’s already been passed. This bill was to increase that 600 to 2000.
I’m not one for politics but this whole stimulus thing is a huge joke. All they’re doing is carrot on a stick for months and playing with some people’s lives here.
AFAIK - Senate said no. I am sad that peeps who on rode early unemployment made bank but my hours for cut and I’m essential. This whole thing is a mess.
Bernie is blocking the override of trump’s veto of the defense spending bill unless the Senate votes up or down on the $2k.
Game of chicken between Bernie and McConnell. Figure Bernie has less to lose.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t want 2k who wouldn’t right? I’m just reading the main reason is it would be very costly and they are shying away from adding even more to the already large deficit. I think the US government spent upwards of 5 trillion this year which seems bonkers, however the cost of a massive recession perhaps would have been worse for all I know.
Don’t fool yourself… Dems want to modify it as much as repubs… They just won’t right now because Trump wants it. Democrats including Joe Biden have urged Congress to revise Section 230 to make tech companies more accountable for things posted on their platforms.
Gotta go through the Senate first…

Also to hell with the deficit. The deficit didn’t friggin’ matter when adding a metric crapton of money to the defense budget we don’t need or tax cuts for the rich we didn’t need.
