As mentioned in the thread that was deleted a couple of weeks ago, the road to $2k lies through the great state of Georgia.
The two Repub Senators up for re-election in the special runoff were getting beat up by the Democratic challengers who supported the $2k. Now even they are defying Mitch McConnell and supporting it because trump is going to their state to campaign for them.
Oh and thank Bernie and the Republican from Missouri Josh Hawley. They were the only ones originally pushing $2k in the Senate long before the Georgia Senators finally caved. lol

Yep, i don’t understand his motivation on holding it… It’s not like they where Fiscal Hawks with spending the last 4 years… It’s just going to hurt GA senate runoffs against Republicans…

Josh Hawley seems to have his hands in everything these days. Glad he’s from my state and doing good work. I have a feeling in the next decade or so we’ll see a presidential run from him.
While I ‘get the humor’… it wouldn’t be just here… it would be internet wide. companies are not going to pay what it would be required to monitor their forums in such a way that would preclude them from getting sued over something we posted. The cheaper solution is to ‘just turn them off’.
