Classic doubled WoW’s sub numbers, actually. This is from Blizz.
And I don’t say to unsub. I say to go play every other version of WoW. And let this version appeal to a different type of player. That’s a bigger net of potential customers. The more differences between the various versions of WoW, the better. The more similar they become, they lose their identity and distinction. And then players quit, because the experience of each become more and more similar.
You are under false belief that the popular opinion is the right opinion. It doesn’t matter if my opinion is the minority opinion, I believe I am right. One of the best MMORPGs was Asheron’s Call but it wasn’t the most popular MMO.
Classic WoW wasn’t meant to appeal to a mainstream audience, and it especially wasn’t meant to appeal to entitled players like yourself who think you are right just because you hold the majority opinion.
It actually is. World of Warcraft like other MMORPGs is about a fantasy adventure and that includes traveling. The idea of fantasy RPGs is creating your own version of Lord of the Rings.
Ah yes, the “journey”, aka a 3 minute flight path with peggle covering 80% of my screen, followed by pointing my camera in the direction of the dungeon and then pressing autorun while I check my email on the other screen. Or, I could be the other dps and the healer that are just afk in Stormwind waiting for the Warlock to summon them
Outright lying if you’re going to claim you actually speak to any random person you just happen to run by
If I wanted world pvp I’d roll on a pvp server
Cool, I’ll go out and farm them later when I plan to actually farm them
Oh boohoo a slightly bigger and different colored bird with a special name from the dozens of birds surrounding it
Did you know dungeon bosses drop cool items? And way more often than random mobs, too
“Discovered” quests? Bro we’ve known every quest that Vanilla has to offer for almost 20 years
See above
Well I could point it out directly for you again, but I think we both know that’s a wasted effort
It should take a minimum of weeks to sail from EK to Kalimdor. So maybe the problem with WoW is that we aren’t traveling enough. Considering the size of a continent, it should take several weeks or months to walk to Orgrimmar to Crossroads. Maybe log in in September, start the journey, then in March you can start questing in Crossroads. And if you are too zoomer to enjoy that type of game play and the journey, GTFO of my game!

Probably because you don’t know what the word irony means. Basically your post reeks of “I don’t really want to play the game, just zoom zoom to the content I like and skip everything that’s boring”.
