As a someone who didn’t get EA, I ought be offended (I’m totally totes super not crying you’re crying duper not upset either btw) but this follow-up response is simply too good not to acknowledge.

I would love to see where on the launcher this message is… I have restarted my launcher multiple times and I see no message anywhere about this maint / server shut down.
No this isn’t how it works.
My work shedule is release on the same day every week. My schedule is planned for the week. (just like maintenance) If my job calls me and asks me to work tomorrow my scheduled day off. That is an emergency. It’s not scheduled.
People have lives and plans that their schedules revolve around. Putting up a Blue post saying something is unintended and they would be doing maintenance today on it is an EMERGENCY!!! That is the definition of emergency they needed to do something “OUTSIDE” of normal schedules.

I know I’ll survive and yada yada. Whatever. I just think that they should be doing maintenance earlier in the morning. I wake up on my day off and I can’t play until 9, alright I’ll eat something, shower. Come back at 9, and it’s extended. Some bs. I can’t really play on work days. I mean I really don’t understand why not start the maintenance at 4am, end it at 8am if you have to.

plenty of people wake up at 3am and go to work. It’s a different schedule. I didn’t say make them work 12 hours a day.
Is someone’s life in jeopardy because of this maintenance? No? Then it is NOT an emergency. Stuff happens and it needs to be fixed…but this is NOT an emergency…smh
So glad I had early access and got to play the game all weekend.
Not angry about it, but they owe us some credit now. This level of maintenance is a bit excessive. If it’s broken, admit it’s broken and take it down for 48 hours to fix it completely then leave it alone. Weekly maintenance only. My two cents.
